Seriously, that was the most ridiculous episode Blindspot did so far and it's going to be difficult to top that.
I like that this show has a "normal" woman being the tech "guy" and not being weird or made fun of by being the way she is - or being a forced social commentary. But this episode made me hope she gets killed off for her stupidity, a hope that isn't gone with the end of this episode.
I love Patterson as a character, the "tech guy" being a woman and inserted so naturally into the series. but I think her character is made to be the "smart and intelligent when it comes to concrete data and abstract knowledge but dumb in making real life decisions and social skills", so I'm cool with her doing stupid stuff when confronted like this - but yeah, this episode was filler, the case was minor in the scheme of the plot and they could have solved it in a minute if Patterson didn't try to do it by herself lol
Boring and stupid episode. Patterson is characterized as the smart person of the team who also happens to be the computer person of the group as well. Yet she was portrayed as being very stupid in this episode as a plot convenience for her to have this imaginary conversation with David while being the main focus of the episode except he's dead and was actually her subconscious. To top that off, she was trying to solve a tattoo, solved it, and then pursued it all by herself and paid the consequence for it. And to make it even more obvious that all of that was simply a plot convenience, had she shared the solved tattoo with the team, they would've caught the guy in the very first minute of the episode, if not earlier.
One of the worst episodes I've ever watched!
Wanted to quit watching when the opening credits started because I really felt this was bad. Didn't get better throughout.
I take a Patterson episode because she's a likeable character. She's also incredibly stupid. And David was boring while he was alive, he sure is when he's dead. I know they wante to visualize her subconcious but I just don't like it.
And wanna bet that Alexandra is working with that prosecutor ? I mean, the moment he turns the investigation on Mayfair she meets that woman in a bar. C'mon. There's no such thing as coincidence in TV writing.
Whoa look at Jane. She had some BURNING HOT clothes on sex in the first couple minutes. :\

Probably the episode I enjoyed the most. I do love me some Patterson and David
Patterson seeing her dead bf and trying to solve tattoos with him is the show at it's weakest. Since she does many dumb things that don't prove how smart her character is supposed to be. Although yeah she has mostly done dumb things this season.
