This was a fun episode. Definitely had to suspend disbelief, as with all episodes of Blindspot, but it had a really cool National Treasure vibe to it. Probably inspired by the lost artifact they were trying to find. I also really enjoyed the extra screen time Rich and Patterson were given. More of this, please.

If you thought this show couldn't get any worse, you're in for a very boring, sleep-inducing ride. Jane is finally better(???), HOORAY? The process leading to that was absolutely atrocious, especially in this episode with Patterson and Rich's quest to find the stupid book. But, hey. At least Jane's better, right? On the road to recovery and all. But is that really good? The ZIP poisoning storyline should be over now, yet it has been replaced by the whole Madeline Burke storyline. One horrendous storyline that has lasted up to this point has been replaced by a potentially more horrendous storyline. Wow.

What was the pretext for a 48-hour deadline? Why would the book suddenly become less valuable than the cells 48 hours after the guy learned about it?

The anxiety is real! The outcome was somewhat expected, but a treausre hunt with Patterson and Rich working in the field, Boston teaming up with Zapata, plus a good old Blindspot-fashioned twist by the end? Total fanboy here.

Yes, the woman that went blind and was on the verge of death because of brain damage caused by the injection of a memory-whiping poison returns recovered with no sequels.
