I don't hear people talk about this show as much as they should. This is a seriously wonderful cartoon, and season 6 was simply another great addition to the show. The writing team on this deserves the recognition, because each episode has great duel stories that almost always collide at the end. Each character has a great, distinct personality and they all interact with the storyline differently. I hate to admit it, but I think I relate most to Tina. Her episodes this season were my favorite, and how she deals with the coming of age phase is always hilarious.
I haven't ever really been a Simpsons fan/follower, but honestly that is simply because as a kid I couldn't watch it so getting into it now... that's a big mountain to climb. Every time I have seen one though, this just seems like a slightly different version of that show (a little more emotionally positive I'd say). At the very least, I think you should give this a couple episodes so you can see the actual tone of the show. This is NOT some episode of Family Guy where half the jokes are simply cut aways. The comedy actually flows from the plot. Shocking these days, I know.
If you're picking an episode, pick the finale. Toilet Bob! Toilet Bob! Toilet Bob!
