7.8/10. I'm a sucker for Tina episodes, and this fit the bill. The notion of Tina having to be a tablet on a stick thanks to an ankle injury is a little weird as premises go, but where Bob's Burgers took it -- namely that Jimmy Jr. could confide in Robot Tina in a way he couldn't with real Tina -- worked in that strange, unique Bob's Burgers way. His mus-oems were hilarious, and the struggle for Tina between sort of having what she wanted, but feeling the letdown of the artificiality of it was sad and sweet enough to carry the plot forward. The whole thing building to Tina standing up for her flesh and blood self (replete with her and Jimmy Jr. kissing was a nice way to end things.
Plus, we got all sorts of amusing little insights into Jimmy Jr.'s life, like his strained relationship with Jimmy Pesto and details about how things are with is mom. In the same vein, Zeke was on fire tonight with his oddly but hilariously deep interpretations of everything.
The B-story, with Louise and Gene using Tina's remote controlled robot-screen to cause mischief after hours at the school was fun as well. The fact that Yuvi the Janitor (Robert Smigel!) not only helped them, but believed he had a robot boss who he later tried to help escape a la WALL-E was great comedy. And the C-story, with Bob trying to find the right time for a banjo moment, was good for a few laughs here and there, which is all you can ask for out of something so slight. Tying it to Jimmy's mus-oems was a nice touch.
Overall, not a knock-it-out-of-the-park effort from the show (as it presented, literally and figuratively, in "The Unnatural") but a quality Tina episode.
