Danish dirt farmer is a Danish TV series, originally called Bonderøven represented by the Danish TV channel DR1. Originally, the program was presented on channel DR2 in which it reached the largest channel viewing figures.
The series first season was presented in Denmark for the first time March 23 to May 11, 2008.
In Finland, a series known as the Danish dirt farmer in Finnish and I do not tvättäkta lantis Swedish and it is shown Yle Fem and YLE TV2. The series aired in Sweden SVT at 100 procent bonde, Norway NRK1 has at Bondeknølen.
The series follows the young (p. 1983) Frank Erichsen who buys an old farm near Grenåta and will take to implement his dream of the simple country life and self-sufficiency. Frank hands handy happy to use the old machines and methods. However, Frank is not completely moved to the old time, but also use of modern equipment, such as tractors and power tools. Frank describes its goals followed insisted: "not intended to go to the Stone Age, but to strive to make things simpler."
Frank live in the farm together with his wife, Theresa Jessing. Theresa produces handicrafts in their own companies Sort Lakrids. The series progresses, the family of the first born son Johan in 2008 and a subsidiary of Alma in 2010. As a pet farm to live in the Siberian Husky Malik. Other state of the animals are cows, horses, goats, geese and pigs.
