Goodbye best tv show I've ever seen BB
Rest in peace Walter White.
the best final ever oh me god
Well, this is it. I've finally watched Breaking Bad. I'm a little depressed, not sure if that's the right word, how Jesse looks and is completely different than he was earlier in this season and the previous seasons. But I'm glad that even after all that Walter has done and how much it affected Jesse, they still had somewhat of a bond at the end and I liked how they nodded at each other when Jesse was about to drive away.
Only Heisenberg could Kill Heisenberg <3
An incredibly cathartic ending. Every element receives proper setup, from Walt poisoning Lydia with ricin, which has been part of the series since early Season 2. To him getting Elliot and Gretchen to give Walt Jr. the money, an idea he inferably got the inspiration for from Mike.
The scene where Jesse points the gun at Walt only to realize Walt has already been shot is excellent. No words need to be said, and no sad music needs to be played; this scene is subtle and carries significance, and you can easily understand how Jesse feels without any dialogue.
There's also the moment when Walt admits to Skylar that he went on his whole crusade because he was "good at it." This moment is particularly of note. We learned in "Fly" about Walt's perfect moment to die, but maintains moral tensions relating to Walter that unfolded in these final seasons. We watch Walter go from wishing he had died recently to, as I saw it, the egotistical pursuit he truly desired. This is not only really good at humanizing Walter but also well handled in how it played out narratively when Walt reveals that he began founding his drug empire to make amends with himself for throwing away his opportunity with Gray Matter; it feels true to his character and only adds to it. Learning Walter's true feelings on the Gray Matter situation feels completely earned because Gray Matter has been a consistent aspect of the show's status quo from the very beginning.
In the end, Walter ends up dying peacefully, and we know that what he initially set out to do, provide for his family, he accomplished with flying colors. Certain elements are left open to interpretation, but this seems solely for subtlety and brevity, as it’s clear how things will likely play out. And Breaking Bad's ending covers a lot of ground in a relatively short period, but the episode as a whole often lingers. This is because it’s an intricately constructed episode where the show can heavily rely on the actors' performances. This allows the conclusion not to feel rushed. Ozymandias is the series' climax, and Felina and Granite Slate are the resolutions. And these final two episodes serve to wrap up the series quite well. (And on a side note, while I found it unnecessary, I still enjoyed El Camino.)
While this isn’t my favorite finale, as there are others I’ve found more compelling. I think Breaking Bad's conclusion is cathartic, and its drama is impressively plotted.
However, I feel some may have ambivalence towards it because they find it cloying. This would be mainly because Season 5 is where the viewer will likely begin to start rooting against Walter but still root for his family. So Walt dying, the contrived machine gun sequence that leads to his death, and Walt's family getting the money could be considered a saccharine ending that plays it safe. However, they kill off Hank, and the core of this episode's tensions is Jesse's fate (where Walt ultimately decides to save him), and the conclusion for Jesse and Skylar is still bittersweet. So, I found it a cathartic ending that’s hardly saccharine.
"Guess I got what I deserved"
Speechless. This was so beautiful! Goodbye best show ever made... This was just.. Magnificent.
Well done. Amazing way to finish the show.
I'm happy Jesse is alive and is to be a free man.
Walter Freaking White... You were a mastermind.
What a ride. I really wish Hank was still alive.
Man... It was a really good show. It took a long time to see it, but was worth it.
6 years later on a rewatch and I'm still getting the goosebumps as if it's the first time. Words can't express enough the masterpiece and utter brilliance that this show was, and what an amazingly satisfying way to end it off.
walt saving jesse, after everything, is so special to me
i,,, i feel kinda empty now
Walter finally understands what he did was for him and because he enjoyed it,instead of teaching chemistry.
Some scenes were heart breaking especially with Jessie.
Did anyone notice the man on the couch was still breathing.
Overall it was an awesome finale (or felina).I will miss this show a lot.
Great show ...... Had the best finale
89 | This episode is depressing, not only because of what happened in it but also because this is the last episode of Breaking Bad. What a very good conclusion that not so many series could do. Walt finally on his redemption and truly recognize himself. He also tries to do good in his last moment which is to save his son, Jesse. It all went just like his plan, die in his favorite place, the meth lab.

Just completed a re-watch of the entire series. Just shy of 10 years later. I wanted to wait until after Better Call Saul was finished. Now here I am, about to watch El Camino and Better Call Saul again. Damn, these are great stories.
Just finished this and man I’m sad this show has ended.
Great story, Beautiful Cinematography, Great storytelling, Best character development, Great acting, Good casting, Realistic :-) I miss this show:cry:
The part where he woke up in a bed with Jane Kaczmarek and freaked out about being Scarface - wow, Cinema. (if you know you know)
Dammn!! What an epic finale episode! will miss this show so much! Next: "Better Call Saull".
One of the best shows!
Goodbye best tv show I've ever seen BB
From the beginning of the series, we saw Walter's transformation from a normal person to a criminal monster, and instead, Jesse, as a criminal, always tried to be a good person. The series ended well. Walter's life path showed that sometimes people can do anything if they are in a different situation.
Best show ever. Only good TV show ending I've watched this far.
Well , third time through the entire series! Still one of the best, if not THE best series ever to grace our screens. Simply amazing TV.
Wow that was really a waste of time. Don’t know why this show got hyped up at all. It sure had its few moments but all in all it was flat boring as hell. Poor Jesse got effed up by this frickhead White again and again, pain in the ass to watch. Got no sympathy for any of these characters. Story was some patchwork at best.
I still can't figure out how to live without watching breaking bad.. What a Tv show.
Best show ever in the world
I love this serie! Excelente serie
Best show ever, hands down.
I LOOOOOVE IT! btw this finale was better than Dexter....but love both of them
ok first I agree, some of the best TV in history - was able to sustain its pace and tie up loose ends to feel complete. Though I’m really surprised nobody mentioned the chances they would never check his trunk for guns, bomb, an accomplice (or anything!) is so near slim - that was definitely quite unbelievable given the stakes Other than that, I very much glad I picked up this series 6 years later after stopping a third through Season 2 - I don’t think it’s because I didn’t enjoy it - I think I just wanted to give later seasons my undivided attention the whole series deserves!
Thank you, Vince Gilligan, for the 2 best shows ever, Breaking Bad and The X-Files.
2nd time watching after almost a decade and the ending still hits hard as hell.
The best tv show! Rest In Peace
AMAZING, SIMPLY AMAZING!! WHAT AN ENDING!!
