Janey Byrne, who owns a 17st Vietnamese pot-bellied pig, offers an insight into her unusual pet's pampered lifestyle, and Kate Johnson devises a plan to make her overly domesticated hen Floella start laying eggs

Jack Heathcoat takes cameras on a tour of his basement, which he has converted into a tropical aquarium, and Hertfordshire pet-shop owner Mark Amey introduces his collection of deadly reptiles. The programme also features Glenn and Maureen Cousins, whose 4.5m-long Burmese python Mia is believed to be one of the biggest snakes in England, and a Labrador that enjoys tea and surfing

On the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Stephanie Noble has moved her pony into her living room, replacing the TV and sofa with hay bales and a fence to keep the two-ton animal at bay. Elsewhere, Ian Newbie visits a zoo to take possession of two unwanted reptiles, which will live in his home alongside his pet emu, and psychic Mystic Ed reveals his assistant - a cat called Angelica
