This episode introduces two of the most iconic BuffyVerse characters. Spike and Dru. What an entrance! It never gets old!

I just can't believe Willow is totally forgotten in the end. Given she didn't pop back up with everyone else, it would seem most logical for Buffy and Xander to assume she was dead. Real nice, guys.

Ok, I see the hype about Spike now.

Spike’s very first appearance and it’s one banger of an episode.

Ay...when Spike is leaning his head on Dru and she's stroking his cheek...I want that.

Spike and Dru make everything so much better. It is pretty much why everyone says the second season is so much better than the first.

Based on the rating, this may be a great episode and really kick the show into next gear - but I'm going to have to give up on the show. 7+ seasons of 22+ episodes is too much, especially when it's stuck in the 90s. Wish I could watch this at the time of release, but it's not to be.

Very good episode, this! Definitely my favourite up until this point.

I love this episode because it introduces us to the greatest Buffy / Angel character of all time... Drusilla!

I've watched every episode of Buffy & Angel three times now and Dru is by far my favorite character.

Best/Favorite characters

#1 Drusilla

#2 Cordelia

#3 Willow

#4 Anya
