I feel like they wanted Ford to have AIDS but opted for cancer instead to be politically correct. I remember watching this when it first aired but not how I felt about his illness at the time. Love that they had a bit of Jack Palance. How many vampire films get shown in the background over the course of the series?
Some scenes and dialogs were pretty good, like the one were Ford confesses his motivations and Buffy and Angel talk about Drusilla, but nothing really outstanding happens plotwise. It feels cartoonished yet irrelevant due to how everything is handled. Hope it gets better.
They should have put a tarantula in the bird cage for Drusilla.
