Just one thing I don't get: how would a psychological condition show up on a CT scan? They clearly had some type of scarring on their brains that was noticeable on the scan, right? Or am I remembering the first episodes wrong? I'm no doctor, but clearly their condition is physical, not mental.
Also, that other cop dude is shady AF. He's dirty. No doubt about it.

This episode really showed the insane way expert evidence is relied upon by courts to determine scientific truth. It frustrates me no end which is a sign the show is realistic!
