I love Castle but did not care for this episode. We've been there before with this "rogue" thing.
While the rogue thing has been overplayed, this episode was intense and action packed. It definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat. A great start to the season. I hope that the quality is a good indicator for the rest of the season.
After following all the previous seasons, I have great expectations! It will be really awesome.
Not the best start for a new season. It really has it all:
- Almost no Beckett.
- No humor.
- Yet another stupid mega-conspiracy spies plot! With Bracken, of course.
- And Castle is back again on his P.I. agency. Wasn't it clear those were the worst episodes in last season?
If that's where they wanted to take the show, no wonder why it got cancelled after this 8th season...

I hate the conspiracy plots. still good action but very little beckett. new faces are good though for a change
