For once a quite good episode. Obviously made at a time when Hollywood hadn't gone completely far left woke but dared to show a real terrorist as the scum of the earth that they are.

And here we have the Chicago Med backdoor pilot. I haven't really been looking forward to beginning Med, honestly - it just doesn't interest me much from the outside looking in. I guess I'll see if I feel differently once I actually start it. It's a bit funny, considering Med is my mom's favorite of the bunch.
So how does the Dick Wolf Universe reconcile the fact that S. Epatha Merkerson was a long-running cast member of Law & Order, and then goes on to be on Chicago Med as a completely separate character? Because they're in the same shared universe. Someone with the literal same face as Anita Van Buren popping up in Chicago doesn't raise any alarm bells?
I find it hard to believe that all of those people who initially ran outside would simply listen to the firefighters telling them they can't leave. Yeah, there was the one asshole who tried to disobey, but everyone else was rather content to follow orders. Which just wouldn't happen in real life.
