I like that they didn't just brush off Shay's death, and we're seeing how it affected Kelly's life. Hopefully he'll be able to move along with his life.
How convenient that more than one random junked car in the scrapyard just so happened to have a tire iron in the trunk right when they needed it, lmao. Most people don't have tire irons in their trunk period, even in the cars they actively use, and a junked car would most likely be emptied out completely.
The fact that Severide was able to confront gunmen, administer first aid to a gunshot well enough to save a life, and also devise the little plan to summon the police, all while being drunk enough to have his keys taken away from him, sure was exceptional. Unbelievably so.
How long are they going to drag on this Shay is dead whining from Severide. Just drop it.
