I'd never heard of this or any of the people involved. But after the first episode which is a little lacklustre, it had me laughing like a drain. Some more seasons and this could have been one of the greats.
When you don’t need to put on an accent or speak differently because you already sound like your from 1917. Simon bird is great. This shows ok. Interesting to have a show about people who didn’t go off to war, kinda like the general, except a comedy.
Such a shame as this show had quite a lot of potential. I'm a huge fan of Simon and I feel he is better than this. Got through 2 episodes and couldn't maintain.

Simon Bird is affable as always, though Joe Thomas continues to show a limited range and Jonny Sweet is plain annoying.
Some of the writing had its moments, but overall sadly disappointing.
