Great fun. A much better witch show than the new Charmed so far. Well, or the old Charmed for that matter.

It was fun and darker than I expected.
But just like Riverdale, I hate the pretentiousness of not telling what age this takes place in. Are we in the 1950s? Are we in the 2010s'?
Apart from that, I'm in.

Not bad but I'll need a few more episode to be sure..

It wasn't bad at all, but I read a few reviews that were praising this show like it's the best thing that happened to television in the last years, so my expectations were a bit higher.
Mostly I'm not a fan of Sabrina or rather the actress. She has a really unique way of speaking where she makes weird pauses and it just distracts me so much. I'm also not a fan of the blurry shots which make me feel like I need another pair of glasses and it just gives me a headache. And I'm not really feeling any of the characters, but unfortunately I can't put my finger on it. I guess they're lacking chemistry?

Overall it was okay, but I couldn't completely get into it. I'll definitely watch more episodes and I hope the next episodes will be a bit better.

A solid beginning. A nice, dark tone and some good casting, beginning with Sabrina, who actually looks like she could almost be on the cusp of turning 16, as opposed to looking like a 28-year-old trying to pass for much younger. Her aunts are great, Harvey is okay, and her two best school pals are TBD. And now the table has been set and we'll see how Sabrina gets out of this mess.

I enjoyed this episode a lot. They chose the right person to play Sabrina.

When Sabrina told her boyfriend that she's a witch, he handled that a lot better than I would had. Mid sentence. I would have darted straight out the woods! Lol

I'm curious to know why her cousin can't leave the property?

Overall, really great coming-of-age story and I'm already fond of the characters. I love how she's figuring out dark stuff about herself and her fate. My favourite, however, is Ambrose. I like his wit and mannerisms; the actor really portrays it well. The ambience of it all is mildly uncanny but it has its sinister moments. I didn't really pay much attention to other themes, such as feminism or teen romance, but it's there. The only con that really stands out is the simulated vision blur. It keeps making me feel like there's something in my eye. I guess that is just an aesthetic of show; not looking forward to it though.

It was definitely not a bad episode at all, however I felt like there were so many ideas packed into this hour. There is certainly potential in it, looking forward for the rest of the season and how it develops.

I'm excited to watch this new version of "Sabrina the Teenage Witch"! This first episode has been pretty good so far. Salem seems pretty terrifying yet super savage.
