What were they thinking with this weird detour? Was it just so Tilly could call in a bunch of favours?

I loved the meta idea involving Tilly and her costars but hated the format.

This episode was a delightful homage to Clue and the murder mystery genre. Also awesome to finally see Glen and Glenda again and the ending was particularly entertaining if you're familiar with Liv Morgan and her love of Chucky.

A fun diversion from the prison school plot of this season with celebrity cameos and some canon building that answers some questions left over from as far back as Seed of Chucky.

Only thing that was good about this episode was Glen and Glenda & the Chucky part at the end.. other than that.. it wasn’t that good of an episode

Nobody is supposed to know about Chucky being alive until he makes himself known, but here he is on a TV chat show with (supposedly) a live audience, which makes no sense because it's always such a horrific shock for people when they discover he's alive. This whole 'Chucky hosting the show Tales-From-The-Crypt-style is totally terrible and stupid, even in the dark-comedy-horror context of Chucky. I'm relieved that such scenes are mercifully rare throughout the season, because they would put me off watching at all if they were on every episode. Thankfully, the quality of the rest of this episode - and the Chucky TV show in its entirety - is mostly good enough to forgive this abysmal idea.
