Dark Souls is a challenging game from the makers of the ultra-cool Demon's Souls and features many of the same gameplay features like losing your experience (souls) when you die and giving the player the chance to reclaim them. This CGR Dark Souls video review shows gameplay from the Xbox 360 version of Dark Souls published by Bandai (also available for PS3) which features HD game play of combat and some of the many features in this deep JRPG action adventure. Deep tactics, intense combat and difficult end bosses provide a brutal challenge and rewarding adventure for those up to the task. Those looking for more of a casual RPG adventure with hack and slash combat or turn based combat should look elsewhere.

Classic Game Room reviews TWIN HAWK for Sega Mega Drive (Sega Genesis) from Toaplan, a vertical scrolling airplane shooter released in 1990! Twin Hawk is a 2D top down vertical scrolling shooter SHMUP that debuted in the arcades in 1989 and found its way onto the mighty Sega Mega Drive in 1990. Bland visuals prevent this from being one of the more attractive SHMUPS on the Sega Mega Drive but the gameplay is awesome and packs some serious challenge. Experience the unique feature of calling in support aircraft to give you an assist when blowing up enemy tanks and battleships. CGR Twin Hawk video review features Twin Hawk gameplay recorded from the Retron 3 game console (replicating the Sega Genesis / Sega Mega Drive).

Classic Game Room reviews the RAPTOR GAMING LK1 gaming keyboard with red letters on the WASD controls as well as red directional keys. Raptor Gaming LK-1 comes with a tool that allows you to easily remove keys (or swap them around) to customize the keyboard layout to play your favorite games without accidentally hitting the wrong keys. Features anti-ghost technology to fight evil spirits and poltergeists as well as ectoplasm because it's water resistant!

Digimon Battle Spirit review for Bandai Wonder Swan "Swan Crystal". Classic Game Room reviews DIGIMON TAMERS: BATTLE SPIRIT for the Swan Crystal released in 2001 by Dimps and Bandai. Digimon Tamers was re-released as Digimon Battle Spirit for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance in 2003. The Bandai WonderSwan plays Battle Spirit like a champ without a backlit screen. If you can properly light you SwanCrystal you'll get bold colors and smooth action for this Digimon fighting game with characters from Digimon battling each other. CGR Digimon Tamers Battle Spirit video review has gameplay from the WonderSwan version of Digimon Battle Spirit (also available for Gameboy Advance).

Classic Game Room reviews FINAL FANTASY VIII for PS3 (and PS1) from SquareSoft released in 1999. Considered by many as an odd entry in the series, Final Fantasy VIII can be a lightning rod for discussion but remains a sizable, playable entry in the Final Fantasy series. Consisting of 4 discs (or an easy download from PlayStation Network for your PS3), Final Fantasy VIII is a massive game with that JRPG style that the genre is known for. CGR Final Fantasy 8 video review features PS3 gameplay of Final Fantasy VIII.
