Cobra Kai: Season 5

5x07 Bad Eggs

I think it was a dirty trick to deceive Kreese, I think Johnny and Daniel are better than this!

Am I the only one that picked up on the "My Cousin Vinny" reference?

wtf what a dishonourable thing to do… you had a fucking deal with the guy. And the smug look on LaRusso's face… They both know Kreese didn't do the crime he was accused of, he doesn't deserve to be there. Fuck those guys.

Mary Mouser is the worst thing about this series. Her acting skills bring this show down, down, down...

She must have been related to someone doing the casting because there is no way they could see acting talent in her.

THIS IS BECOMING A SHOW FOR 12 YEAR OLDS! LAME! How long am I supposed to believe these kids are 16/17? I mean its been 5 seasons, Miguel is like 22 now.

And now there is some kind of asian gang teaching the Cobra Kia.... man they are going out there in all the wrong directions. Just a smorgasbord of shit.

STOP TRYING TO TEACH LIFE LESSONS COBRA KAI AND GO BACK TO BEING A DAM KARATE SHOW! So stupid.

I wanna deck the kid who plays kenny right in the face. He is this big pussy and like 4 episodes later he is this bad ass bully? PICK A LANE ALREADY COBRA KAI!

This will be my last season of Cobra Kai, even if there is another.

This story line where Johnny and Danny look at Cobra Kia as this global villain, is ridiculous and very unbelievable.

This definitely has felt like the weakest of the episodes so far. Still fine but doesn't give me the same hype as the others.

5x07- Bad Eggs: 7.5/10 (Good)

So far, this season has felt the most Karate-deficient of the bunch, but that changes with “Bad Eggs.” This episode is an improvement over the last; perhaps returning to the show's roots was the key. We get to see two training sessions, one led by the new senseis for Cobra Kai and another led by Chozen for the Miyagi-Do/Eagle Fang kids. Although the students from Miyagi Do/Eagle Fang appear to have less hunger than their Cobra Kai counterparts, they do have something Cobra Kai lack: teamwork.

Meanwhile, Jonny and Daniel visit Kreese, and we finally learn Terry Silver's ultimate goal: global conquest (yes, I know, it's cliché). Despite his regrets about Johnny, I think Kreese still believes in his methods' correctness and hasn't changed. Before leaving, Daniel pulls a fast one on Kreese. This newfound savagery from Daniel is fantastic to witness. They have no intention of holding back in the future if this is any indication.

I think it's safe to say that this episode was quite enjoyable.
