I found it so funny that they give Bert something to do this episode. That kid has been around since season one and has still managed to be in this series.
This show has a lot of cringey moments but the limo karaoke scene has got to take the cake.
Shit i loved when eye of the tiger started playing but then…
Chozen is the only thing that made me go through that season.
This episode (E09) was obviously a "Filler" this show is continuing with lackluster writing and plot ideas.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good show, but even the fight sequences over the last 2/3 seasons has diminished.
Do yourself a favor and watch this show.
Yay, the baby is healthy, the parents (Johnny and Carmen) are happy, and the kids (Miguel and Robby) are still working together! :)
The scenes where Chozen revealed his love for Kumiko were so sweet - kinda <3
Anoush dating Louie's sister was so funny xD
And it was awesome that Sam finally came visiting Tory and saw how she has to live - it's really about time that the two can find some common ground!
I really hope that Tory can get out of Cobra Kai. It was already dumb enough to come back there.
"Youth, the one thing money can't buy." too true (also that'll likely become less true over time :o)
That "eye of the tiger" ending though!
This show is getting dumb. Hey, hit this stone. Keep doing it till your hand bleeds. Makes me think of karate kid 3 with the wood obviously. But nowadays, CPS would have been all over this DOJO like white on rice.
I really hate Mary Mouser aka Samantha. She is as intimidating as Rick Moranis
Mrs. LaRusso is a serious hottie!
This show is Karate Kid meets 90210
Chozen is the best character of the entire series. Badass and funny at the same time
This was so bad we don't need a filler...
5x09 - Survivors: 7.5/10 (Good, It Gets the Job Done)
Although “Survivors” is a notable improvement over the previous episode, the season as a whole feels more like a setup for the next instalment than a complete story, with all indications leading to a cliffhanger ending. It’s not easy handling a large cast, and the shows that do manage to do it successfully are usually some of the best out there for a good reason. Cobra Kai is undoubtedly feeling the grunt of that, with certain characters doing nothing for a large part. . But all is not gloomy; the season has greatly benefitted from Chozen’s introduction—or should I say re-introduction? He’s felt the most natural and feels like he belongs in the show, and there is never a dull moment when he is on-screen.
It was inspiring to see Sam take a chance on Tory and uncover the truth about Terry and her championship fight. Even though I've never been Tory's biggest fan, the scene where she tells Sam that she's been caught in a web of lies and can't trust anyone, and Sam says they can help each other out made me like both Tory and Sam a little more. It will be great to see if they can succeed in finally defeating Terry.
The ending where Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen are singing along to Eye of the Tiger in the limo had me on the edge of my seat; the fact that it was juxtaposed by Silver saying something along the lines of “They won’t be a problem any more”. Honestly, I expected something to crash into them, but luckily I don’t think it will go that far.
i just love the ay it builds to the finale omg!
