An anime that's an alternative for Death Note
A good first season but the second one is just about characters failing to express themselves and switching allegiances.
Don’t get turned off by the first few episodes, Code Geass is VERY entertaining with GOD-TIER cliffhangers! It also has amazing characters. I think the plot makes up for the mecha action, which I wasn’t a fan of.
first for those who haven't watched it yet : yes its must must watch now if u have or havent watched death note than believe me death not is winner here yes this show is nice but death note is king of all the anime just watch both the anime no one in the world will say i didnt like it nd yes give code geass time to built the story its kinda boring for 10 minutes than u will get hooked up

Amazing show, it instantly became my all time favorite anime.
Hmm...man this anime hit me really hard in a positive way. After watching one episode I couldn't stop myself to watch. Even though I disliked the idea of those giant robot mechas, this show helped me to get a good view on the overall setting. I love this show.
This is one of the greatest television epics ever produced. The sheer number of themes addressed in an innovative and extremely engaging way throughout the series would alone make it stand out. Add in the excellent character art and voice-acting and you have a memorable, potentially life-changing story that grips you from the get-go and leaves you satisfied...yet somehow still begging for more.

Greatest anime of all time. Even better than Death Note. Code Geass delivered where Death Note failed. Oh! And that ending is the greatest. OMG! THE GREATEST ENDING OF ALL TIME. No show will ever have such COMPLETE and SATISFYING End.
To the makers of this anime, THANK YOU.
One of my favourite anime. Mid way through Season 1 I was unsure if I should continue with it, it lost my interest for a few episodes, they just felt empty. But I understood why when the ending hit.
It’s like they knew how to make this show good but chose not to until the second season

I don't like the mechas and I hate pink/green/purple/blue-haired people. I don't even watch too much anime. But this one... I LOVED IT. It was brilliant, and got me hooked from start to end. I watched it all in four days.
