Colin's view of the world is from racist after racist after racist, yet after racist making their views known. There's something very heinous about people so desperate to be better just based on the color of their skin.
Some of this will make anyone "white" uncomfortable. It's hard to admit some of the racists in it, the comments they made, are people you know or even worse that you might have been one of these people at some point in your life.
It's also hard for a lot of people to accept that we have treated athletes like we own them, regardless of race, and that some of the treatment is based on racism. If a "white" athlete is good at football, other "white" people are often rude because they have black friends or assume they are dumb. The assumption they have the "right" to treat athletes like crap is under the assumption that "good" white people don't socialize with anyone other than white.
Ironically, those people need the message the most and won't get it because they are just that crappy of people. It's obvious because they are desperate enough to give it "1" without even watching it to make sure they get enough to counter the "10" ratings.. People with any real moral fiber will walk away thinking about how we treat athletes, kids, and African Americans and probably doing a little self reflecting.

Don't waste your time... This is the point of view of a bitter person who failed because he sucked and is jealous of everyone else who has succeeded

[Netflix] An original biography, with an attractive visual idea that proposes a hybrid between fiction and personal essay, through Colin Kaepernick's reflections on racism in a minimalist setting. The series does not shy away from controversy, it even feeds it, and it can be debatable in its social discourse, but it assumes its status as a reflective drama with surprising narrative findings, and a kind of ability to convey emotions that other mainstream biopics do not have.
