Designer David Bromstad's clients know what they want to see in their family room: a mix of Old Florida-style and contemporary design. The room has a beautiful view of their backyard pool, but it's a difficult space to lay out because of tall of the windows and arched doorways in the room. But David is able to conceive of a great design after being inspired by the charm of Coconut Grove's Peacock Garden Cafe. By updating Old Florida-style in the cozy room with a custom re-upholstered couch, a two-tone wood feature wall installation, and pops of green that brings the outdoors in, David is hoping he has fulfilled all his client's wishes
