“Purity that demands exclusion isn’t real purity.”
Wonderful.
Is there a pop culture reference for the trampoline arc?
I know a lot of people consider d&d to be Pierce's official "heel turn," so to speak, but I feel like the traces of that are in this episode as well. When he discovers that Jeff and Troy are doing something without him, it's not enough to spy on them or even force them to allow him to join. No, he has to also blatantly break the rules that they tell him about, and then subsequently narc on them. There might be other previous episodes that foreshadow the heel turn (not sure off the top of my head--it's late) but this thought struck me while rewatching the episode, so I felt the need to share it!
Annie: "In fact, what are you doing for lunch?"
Abed: "It's Wednesday. Sometimes I eat in Jeff's car. Don't tell him."
"CLASSIFICATION: BITCHES"
Troy: "Why are you doing this?"
Donald Glover's performance, omg
Troy: "I hate you. I hate you."Girl: "What are these?"
Abed: "Destruct codes."
7/10
Jeff and Troy believing the maze excuse for Joshua's swastika tattoo is one of my favorite bits of the episode.
Andy Dick being the voice of "reason" by encouraging Pierce to exceed the recommend dosage for his painkillers is perfect.
bro deadass followed em with a drone
I don't think I... get this show anymore. It used to be ridiculous and fun, but lately I've been struggling to see the fun part.
This episode feels so out of place.
omg, it's Hilary Duff !!!
How Abed destroyed himself, that's so sad and so Abed.
Holy crap Chang´s reaction gets me every time!

"So was the Y chromosome, but you don't see us throwing stuff at it."
