Don annoys Brian by suggesting he did a bad job repairing the car when it breaks down again. Mavis is horrified and humiliated when she receives a letter from Derek saying she hasn't got the job. Terry needs money desperately and is forced to see his gold watch to Alec. When Don sees Terry he grabs him, demanding his taxi fare. Terry swears he doesn't know what is going on.
