Steph packs her bags and Des spends the night at Lymm Police Station for setting fire to the boat. Des slashes Steph's suitcases up and tells her she's staying with him. She tells him she doesn't love him anymore and begs him not to hit her and walks out and moves in with Simon. Vicky refuses to believe the Johnson's don't want her. She disappears from the Rovers and turns up at the Johnson's. They Johnson's phone Alec and he makes them say in front of Vicky that they don't want to take her on. Vicky agrees to return to the Rovers. Bet has to hold herself back from rowing with Vicky as her bitterness upsets Alec. Angie agrees to design the float but tells Curly she'll want professional payment. Percy takes Alf's place on the WART carnival float, Bacchus, with Curly as Mercury.Nicky starts cubs.
