Coronation Street (colloquially known as Corrie, Corro, or The Street) is an award-winning prime time soap opera set and produced in Manchester created by Tony Warren. It is the longest running and most watched soap opera on British television. It was first broadcast on 9 December 1960, made by Granada Television (now ITV Studios) and broadcast in all regions of ITV almost throughout its existence.
Sarah stops Brenda from seeing Bethany. Cilla causes trouble for Fiz and Kirk when she has the pleasure of telling Kirk about Fiz staying over at Tyrones.
Deirdre is frantic about her first day at work because she doesn't know what to wear. Brenda continues to want to look after Bethany. Janice tries to get Les to sign the divorce papers.
Brenda has been taken to a psychiatric hospital. Gail is happy to have made up with Sarah.
Eileen is less than happy when she finds out that Todd has threw his life away even more by proposing to Sarah. Eileen is even more surprised to hear that Sarah accepted Todds proposal. Les isn't happy when he hears that Cilla is suing Rita. Chesney feels guilty about lying to the doctors of how he got his injuries. Dev and Maya go on an expensive shopping spree.
Bethany returns to nursery for the first time since her ordeal at the hands of Brenda.
Cilla makes Chesney practise his story for when he gets to court. Chesney lets slip to David and Craig that his mum has promised him a trip to Florida when the court case is over.
Special double episode - Eric Gartside arrives for his date with Shelley. He immediately reclaims £10 that Jack borrowed four years ago.
Maria is annoyed that Fiz slept with Tyronne. Kirk goes up to Tyronne while he's working at the garage and starts fighting with him. Tommy, on his first day back at work, must break the fight up. Fred takes baby Joshua to Derek and Doreens house.Later in the Rovers, Fiz is annoyed that Tyronne announced that she was 'his' outside her bedroom window to Kirk. Tyronne then gets and idea, he proposes to Fiz.
Fiz gets Tyronne and Kirk to compete for her affections. She tells them both that they have to think of the top three qualities that she has. Roy and Hayley inform Tracy that they've chose yellow for the colour of the babys room. When Tracy screams that her baby has kicked, Roy and Hayley get excited. All this attention is getting on Tracys nerves and she storms out of the cafe. Tracy is still jealuos if Karen and Steves happiness. When the baby kicks again, Tracy persuades Steve to feel it. Instead of joining his fiancee Karen at the wedding fayre, Steve decides to help Tracy out. By helping her out, he made up her new dining table that he helped her get from the shops.
Nick and Maria come to the conclusion that they have nowhere to be be alone together. This is mainly because Gail keeps inferring in their relationship and being too comforting when Maria goes round to Nicks. Tyronne tries to make up with Kirk so that they're friends again, but he declines. Fiz is after some advice on her man problem. She therefore turns to Roy and tells him that she considers him to be her father figure. Following this comment, Roy is overwhelmed. Tracy tells Blanche that she will definately be back in her old jeans by easter. Following this revelation, Blanche is stunned by what Tracy expects.
The green eyes monster come out when Tracy walks in on Karen and Steves snogging. Kirk goes to a jewellery store to try and buy a ring better than the one Tyronne got Fiz. When Kirk sees how expensive the rings are, he decides to steal one. Kirk proposes to Fiz with the stolen ring and she accepts. What Kirk didn't know was that he was caught on video camera. The video camera clip is shown on the news ans Tyronne points him out. Tyronne debates whether to tell Fiz or not. Bev and Charlie go on a date. Candice thinks that Jason has been messing with her feelings, so she dumps him. Later on in The Rovers, Harry and Eileen convince Jason that the only way to get Candice back is to show her some respect.
Special double episode featuring episodes 5680 and 5681. Cilla accuses Norris of ogling her when he tries to collect a £25 outstanding paper bill from Les. Mike is going on a fortnight's holiday to Spain, leaving Nick in charge. Nick warns Janice that he'll fire her as soon as he gets the chance. Fiz's ring is incredibly tight. She tells Kirk that they can take it to the jewellers later. Tyrone tells Kirk that he saw him on TV, and that he's considering grassing him up. Nick plants an almost empty half-bottle of vodka in Janice's bag and sacks her for gross misconduct. Candice is pleased that Eileen is so enthusiastic about she and Jason being back together. Tyrone tells a horrified Fiz about Kirk stealing the ring. Jack persuades him not to go to the police to turn Kirk in. Kirk sees a policeman and jumps to the conclusion that Tyrone has turned him in. He goes on the run, leaving a distraught Fiz. Harry warns Nick that the girls will walk out if he sacks Janice and quietly suggests that Nick may have planted the bottle himself. Norris finds a small article in the newspaper about Rita's charges. Cilla ouhes Rita even further into the ground when she demands the money off Rita. Kirk decides that he's not going on the run. Therefore him and Fiz go to the police station and tell the police officers in charge of the case that the ring has been returned. Kirk is hoping that there will no longer be a crime that needs to be solved. Candice places an advertisement for Eileen in the 'lonely hearts' section of the newspaper, without Eileen knowing.
Norris shuts the Kabin so that he can attend Rita's court appearance. It's Bettys birthday and only Emily gets her a card. Jason demands to know where Eileen has been since her date with Harry the previous night. Steve asks Janice if her, Hayley and Fiz could be Karens bridemaids. Harry confides in Janice regarding his dead daughter and the fact that it's her birthday today.
Steve desperately phones round venues to try and cover up the cancellation of his wedding. When Claire arrives home, Maria insists that Ashley has really missed her. Obviously, Claire doesn't believe her. Rita tells Norris that she would love him to buy the Kabin as he is the best owner (apart from her) that there could be. Fiz gets Les to confirm her suspicions about the courtcase. Chesneys confession to Fiz isn't enough to use on her mother. Ciaran confides in Tracy to see whether she will ruin Steve and Karens wedding day. Gail talks to Martin regarding Katys growing friendship with Karl.
Special double episode In the first episode, Tracy went into labour during an arguement with Steve. Hayley revealed to Deirdre, Blanche and Ken that Roy and Tracy were married. In the second episode, Tracy tried to convince Steve to leave Karen and go with her and their newborn baby girl. Roy began to get nervous as he thought that the longer Tracy was with her baby, the more she can bond with her.
Tracy breaks down in tears as she thinks about the prospect of losing her baby. Hayley is excited when Roy tells her that Tracy will be leaving the hospital today - meaning that the baby would be handed over to them. Deirdre tries to persuade her daughter to keep her new born baby girl. Steve tells Tracy that she's doing the right thing by giving the baby away. Tracy reconsiders giving her baby away until she is given some emotional blackmail by Hayley. When Tracy unwillingly hands her baby over and is given the rest of her money, she shuts the front door and sobs her heart out as she realizes what she has done.
Roy and Hayley have named their baby Patience. Blanche can't deal with losing her grandchild and therefore tells Tracy to move out. Blanche reminds Tracy that she only bought the house for her so that she could raise the child. Maria is jealous of Nick and Gail's mother - son relationship. Tracy is visited by the social worker and she promptly informs the social worker that her baby is with her father and his partner. When the social worker finds the Croppers, she tells them that the baby has to be registered. While Roy is out registering Patience, the girls from he factory go and see Hayley with the new baby. Steve is curious of how Roy and Hayley are coping with the baby. As Steve and Karen are enjoying a quiet drink in the Rovers, Liz and Andy McDonald return (Steve's mum and nonidentical twin brother). Tracy is unhappy to hear that her Gran is telling her to move out of the house by dinnertime. On the morning of his wedding, Andy suspects that Steve is confusing nerves of guilt for nerves of excitement. Karen is enraged to hear that Liz invited Ken and Deirdre to the wedding without informing her. Tracy breaks down in tears and tells her Gran that she wants her baby back. Just as she goes round to the Croppers to get her baby back, she finds out that they have already gone to th wedding. Tracy, knowing that there's only one thing to do, grabs a taxi and goes to the church.
Tracy gets Patrick to drive her to Walcot Manor. Mike explains to Penny that he lied to her about going on holiday because he's not sure that he's ready to commit to anyone. To get her own back, she invites Fred out for a drink. Steve spots Tracy at the wedding. She's escorted from the premises by Steve, Dev and Andy. Tracy hides herself away in the wedding chapel, just as the bridal party arrive. Karen's looking beautiful, as her perfect wedding is about to take place. Tracy asks Kirk to tell Roy that she needs a word with him, but Roy ignores Kirk completely. The wedding vows begin, as Tracy calls for Roy to come outside for a word. Unable to ignore Tracy, Steve asks the vicar to stop and goes to get rid of Tracy. Steve tries to manhandle Tracy out of the chapel, as she shouts to Roy that she wants her baby. When Hayley tells Tracy that the baby is staying with her father, Tracy cracks and shouts out that the real father is Steve. As Karen looks to Steve in horror, he's unable to speak.
Karen's dream wedding becomes a nightmare In the second of tonight's dramatic double helping of the nation's favourite soap, time stands still for Karen as she struggles to take in what is happening. After weeks of planning and even more bragging, Karen's big day is in tatters. Tracy Barlow has stunned the congregation and destroyed Karen with the news that Steve, not Roy, is in fact the father of her daughter, and Steve can't deny that what she is saying is true! As the shocking truth sinks in, Karen runs from the church in tears leaving Steve to chase her to the vestry with the mammoth task of persuading her that he loves her and Tracy means nothing to him. Meanwhile Roy and Hayley have slipped out of the church amidst the mayhem and are hot footing it back to Weatherfield. And Deirdre discovers that the sins of the daughter are enough to turn everyone against her, as the guests gossip about the day's events. Tracy has only one goal in sight and having ruined the wedding she turns her attentions to trying to get her baby back.
Ashley is unhappy at the prospect of Claire leaving - as she is offered a new job abroad. Andy returns to Spain. Liz lays into Tracy over nearly ruining Steve's wedding day. Dev is a bit jealous when Maya has a dinner date with a male friend. When Ken, Deirdre and Tracy arrive to get the baby Roy denies them access to the flat, repeatedly saying that he is the father. Hayley has great pleasure in telling Ken and Deirdre that they paid Tracy £25,000 to give them the baby. A guilty-stricken Tracy leaves the cafe empty handed, followed by Ken and Deirdre. When Tracy returns to the house, she breaks down in tears. She tells her family that she doesn't want the money anymore, just her baby.
The Croppers are distraught as their flat is quiet and lonely without a baby. After getting her baby back, Tracy decides to change the birth certificate and her name. Tracy wants her baby to be called Amy Barlow. Tracy also wants Steve's name to be on the birth certificate. However, when Tracy goes to get it changed, she comes across obstacles and realizes that she can't. Tracy also gets all of her savings together to give to the Croppers but she is a bit short. Her Gran comes to the rescue and offers to lend her some money. Fred has a dinner date with Penny. He therefore asks Ashley to take Josh out. Maya tells Ciaran that there may be wedding bells on the horizon for her and Dev, until Ciaran tells her that Dev has already been there with Gina.
Special double episode In the first episode Tracy is approached by Liz in the street and threatens to watch Tracy's every move. Meanwhile, Maya tricks Dev into walking out of a restaurant without paying. Maya then takes Dev on a high speed car race. Maya proposes to Dev and says that she will keep going faster until he accepts. In the second episode Maya is still speeding down the country lane waiting for Dev to answer her proposal. he accepts and then when they return home, Dev ends their relationship. Before Dev does this, he calls the restaurant and gives them his credit card numbers so that he can pay for the bill.
Gail teaches Maria how to iron Nick's shirts properly. Bev is still reeling from her break up with Charlie. She isn't thinking straight, especially when she begins to think that Charlie is now secretly dating Deirdre. Eileen putt heir plan into action - making people believe that they're in love (they act very lovely dovey - lots of touching). Cilla convinces Les to mind Chesney while she goes on holiday. Sunita thinks that Dev is going to dump Maya. Maya gives Dev a bouquet of flowers, just before he proposes to her. Deirdre is less than pleased when Bev assumes that she is having an affair with Charlie.
Sarah is pleased when Todd asks if he can adopt Bethany,like Martin did with her. Maya calls her mother and tells her that she's engaged to Dev. Shelley tried to reassure her mother that Deirdre and Charlie aren't having an affair, but she doesn't want to listen. Todd is applying for a new job and asks Martin if he could give him a reference. Maria is shocked at the job offer that Claire had. Todd is upset when, returning from a chat with a social worker, he is told he can't adopt Bethany until he is 21. Tommy suspects that there's something going on between Katy and Karl. A drunken Bev goes round and tells Ken that Deirdre is, at that very moment, having it off with Charlie.
Norris is overwhelmed with joy when he sees Claire and Ashley kissing in the street. Maria is also excited, but Candice is un-impressed. She asks Claire how she could turn down a job abroad, where she could have everything she wanted. Mike is enraged to find out that Nick applied for a job at Penny's behind his back. Audrey informs Gail of her earlier conversation with Maria. Gail is unhappy to hear that Maria is moaning about her. Audrey thinks that her daughter is purposely putting obstacles in front of Maria and Nicks relationship. Sally continues to force people to have tickets to Rosie's play. Fred cooks a dinner for Penny as they have a cosy night in. Ashley and Claire go on their first date. They're both very nervous. Things are brilliant when they catch a cab home, until Claire mentions Maxine. It is then that Ashley walks home and leaves Claire to get the cab on her own.
Ken tells Kevin that Sally tried to bribe him into doing a good review in the paper for Rosie in the play. Kevin in angry that Sally is trying to persuade people that Rosie is a star. Sophie is enraged when her mum calls her jealous of Rosie's 'talent'. Kevin accuses Sally of trying to project her dreams into Rosie. Mike gives Nick a pay rise when he finds out that Nick applied for a job at Penny's. Mike also mentions to Nick that if he puts a foot out of line, he'll sack him on the spot. Maria is annoyed when Nick buys a sports car with the money that they were saving for a flat. Fred takes Penny out for a meal while Ashley and Claire have a cosy night in. Ashley, sweet as he is, spells out 'I love you' in magnetic letters on the fridge. With their feelings out in the open, Claire and Ashley kiss.
Cilla goes off on her friends hen party weekend. She leaves Chesney is the uncapable hands of Les. Steve and Karen return from their honeymoon. Karen has had hair extensions, which look beautiful. Roy and Hayley have gone away for a while. Steve tells his mum and Dev that he doesn't deny that the baby is his, but he doesn't want anything to do with her. Fred anxiety waits for Penny to give him an answer to his marriage proposal. Penny and Mike kiss in his office.
Rosie is nervous about her first night performing in the school play. Rosie is annoyed when her mum begins doing vocal warm ups with her so she runs away, just hours before the curtains are lifted. Tracy tries to get Steve to pay maintenance to Amy. Sarah invites her mum Gail to go to her first ultrasound scan. Todd isn't happy when he finds out and asks Sarah to tell her mum that she can't go. Fred tells Mike that he thinks that Penny will accept his proposal.
Steve tells his mum that he's going to pay maintenance towards Amy, but he doesn't want Karen to know. Roy and Hayley discuss paying Tracy to let them see Amy. Roy and Hayley are shocked when Tracy asks them if they want to be Amy's Godparents (which Ken suggested). Sally is furious when she reads Ken's review about Rosie in the play.
Karen is furious to discover that Tracy canceled the wedding venue, which Steve lied about. Ken apologizes to Sally and Kevin for Rosie's name being misprinted in the paper. Fred is annoyed at how Shelley does her job. Amy's christening is ruined when Karen storms in and starts fighting with Tracy.
It's Mothers Day and Tracy is at home healing her wounds. Sally tries to encourage Rosie to get into the production of Annie. Karen is furious when she sees Liz pushing Amy's pram down the street. Sally isn't very happy when she finds out the Rosie and Craig are dating. Karen kicks Liz out of the flat, and Steve does nothing to stop her. Ken and Deirdre persuade Tracy not to call the police following Karen's assault on her.
Special double episode In the first episode, Deirdre isn't happy when she bumps into Liz and finds out that she's going back to Brighton because Karen and Steve have kicked her out. Liz says a farewell to Amy. Charlie tells Jack about a married woman who him and Jason have fallen for during their work on her house. While Charlie and Jack have a laugh, Jason sleeps with this married woman, then brags about it when he goes to the Rovers. Tracy lets Hayley and Roy look after Amy. In the second episode, Bev and Charlie secretly kiss. Ashley and Claire spend the night at a hotel so that they can have some time one their own. Their plans go sour when they end up playing chess. Fred tries to contact Penny, but gets no answer. Penny is having a few drinks with Mike in the Rovers. Shelley plans a lock-in, which Fred is furious about when he finds out and fires her.
Claire repeatedly says sorry to Ashley for getting so drunk that she fell asleep and they didn't have their planned romantic evening. Cilla is back and the only person happy to see her is Les. Eileen is happy when she looks at the scan of her first grandchild. Cilla is furious to find out that Janice and Les have been spending a lot of time together in her absence.
Shelley is upset when Fred fires her from being the bar manager. She is even more upset when Fred hires her mother, Bev, to be the new bar manager. Todd goes out for a drink with Karl. Maria dresses Claire up for when she sees Ashley. Ashley isn't to happy to the transformation, nor is Claire. Charlie, unaware that she didn't know, told Shelley that her mother, Bev, had a one night stand with Ciaran.
Maya gives Tyrone a lecture when he brings his dog, Monica, in to the shop. Penny is nervous about rejecting Fred's proposal. Todd and Karl go out for drink after work again. Ashely witnesses Penny and Mike kissing.
Special double episode In the first episode, Ashley tells Claire that he saw Mike kissing Penny last night. Todd is shocked to see that Karl has been badly beaten up. He is even more shocked to discover that it was Karl's boyfriend, Robbie, who beat him up. Claire goes behind Ashley's back and tells Fred that Mike was at Penny's the night before. In the second episode, Fred questions Mike on why he was at Penny's the previous night. Karl tells Todd that Robbie beat him up because he suspected that Karl was having an affair with the person he liked at work. Ciaran isn't happy because Shelley is threatening to tell Sunita what Charlie told her.
Fred doesn't understand why Claire has quit and moved into the flat with Fiz and Maria. Todd is worried at what Karl might say to Sarah. Katy accompanies Karl to his and Robbie flat so he can get his stuff. Bev refuses to serve Charlie.
Maya is suspicious of Dev's shady dealings. Tracy tries to get a babysitter, so that she can go out. Maya asks Sunita about Dev's cousin, Naveen. Robbie, Karl's ex boyfriend, confronts Martin. Robbie thinks that Martin is the man that Karl is having an affair with. Fred is upset when Penny rejects his marriage proposal.
Bev isn't happy about being the new manager of the Rovers. Ashley tells Claire that Penny rejected Fred's wedding proposal. Shelley and Bev aren't talking to each other. Bethany and pregnant Sarah wash Karl's car. Todd isn't happy when he sees how friendly Sarah and Karl are. Maya is suspicious when Dev returns with a holdall. She is annoyed when Dev won't tell her what's in the holdall. While having a meal, Ashley and Claire give Mike daggers.
Special double episode In the first episode, Bev is so run down that she snaps at Betty and Ciaran for no reason. Maya is confused when two detectives come to the shop looking for Dev. When Dev does return, the detectives ask him about his shady cousin, Naveen. Fiz is baffled when she receives a credit card statement for a card that she hasn't got. Ciaran is a bit embarrassed when Bev flirts with him and asks him to stay over. After an argument, Ciaran quits. In the second episode, the police return to the shop and confront Maya with a search warrant. Fiz suggests that it was Candice who stole her credit card. Tracy goes for a drink with one of her work colleagues. Bev, so stressed out, breaks down in tears in front of Fred. Bev tells Fred that she quits.
When Fiz finds out that Candice didn't steal her credit card, she begins to suspect that it was Maria. Ken babysits Amy, while Tracy supposedly goes to work in the florist. Fred gets Bev and Shelley together to try and make them sort things out. Blanche walks in on Tracy and a man, called Matthew, kissing. Bev and Shelley both arrange to leave Weatherfield. What the mother and daughter don't know is that they're going to the same place. When they realize the situation, they laugh it off, make up, and return to the Rovers.
Since neither Bev, nor Shelley want to be manager, Fred appoints Ciaran. Kirk begins to realize who was the person who stole Fiz's credit card. Todd take Sarah and Bethany to the seaside for the day when he gets his wages. He also suggests that he should get Sarah an engagement ring. Todd also announces that he's going to Karl's birthday party in the gay bar, which she would like to go to. Fiz is extremely angry when she finds out that her own mother, Cilla, stole her credit card. Jason makes a pass at Gail, which she quickly stops.
Nick, Sarah, Todd and David agree to all pay towards Gail's birthday present. They've decided to get a professional family portrait done for her. Fiz decides not to turn her mother into the police for credit card fraud. Chesney overhears his mother talking to Uncle Ronnie on the phone. He realizes that his mother is cheating on Les. When Chesney confronts his mother, she tells him that if he tells Les, Les will throw them out and she will put Chesney in a home. What will Chesney do? Gail and Charlie wind Jason up about him making a pass at Gail.
Special double episode In the first episode, Cilla continues to threaten Chesney about putting him in a home. Todd gives Karl an expensive shirt for his birthday. Tyrone is upset when he learns that his dog Monica has gone missing. We see a bit of compassion in Cilla's eyes when Chesney admits to his mum that he doesn't like Uncle Ronnie (Cilla's secret, married lover) because he puts him on a shelf in a cardboard box and leaves him there all day. The episode ends with Todd and Karl kissing. The second episode carries on from where the first one left off. Katy and Sarah almost catch Todd and Karl kissing. Sally gets the idea of sending Rosie to a Dance Academy. Rosie and Craig's relationship is now public. Maya and Dev are having an engagement party. Tyrone thinks that Maya has his dog. Les and Chesney have a heart to heart while Cilla is out. Todd privately calls Karl in the middle of the night, but Sarah wakes up and wonders who he's talking to. Todd tells Sarah that
Sally and Rosie give Kevin the cold shoulder over his reluctance to send Rosie to drama school. Determined to pursue her dreams Sally goes to see Rita to ask for her advice. Will Rita once again play fairy godmother and provide yet more financial help to a desperate Sally? Todd continues to battle with his conscience. Sunita realises Todd is troubled asks whether things are okay with him? Pleased to be able to talk to someone, Todd confides that his responsibilities are currently weighing heavily on his mind. Sunita presses him; is he having doubts about marrying Sarah? Todd claims he's not, and is lucky to have Sarah in his life. Sunita advises a grateful Todd that he is still young and it is not too late to change things in his life. He must follow his heart. Food for thought â€“ but will he heed Sunita's wise words? Dev can't understand Maya's hostility towards Tyrone and his missing pet. Dev is still suspicious, believing Maya has something to do with the missing mutt. Intrigued he search's Maya's car. Special double episode In the first episode, Fred reminisces about when he was younger. Chesney ditches school. Dennis sets Fred up so that he falls for somebody that he thinks is from Thailand, but is actually from a market stall in Weatherfield. Todd gets scared when Sarah comes home early while he and Karl are in an embrace. In the second episode, Todd is frightened of Sarah catching him and Karl out so he hides Karl in the bedroom when Sarah walks in. Meanwhile, Fred starts exercising so he can get into shape for his new girlfriend that is coming. Katy pressurizes Todd to end his affair with Karl. Les and Janice kiss.
Les brags about his kiss with Janice. Todd is scared that Katy will tell Sarah about his affair with Karl. Chesney lies to Fiz, Kirk and Claire by saying that Les hasn't fed him. Fiz gives him some food. Claire rings Les and finds out that Les gave him a big meal.

Special triple episode In the first episode, Tracy goes to Portsmouth with Amy . She has arranged to stay with her brother Peter for a while. Gail is worried about Sarah going back to work in the cafe in case she sees Todd. Mike's nephew becomes the co-owner and manager of Underworld. Vera gives Todd an earful when he and Jason go into the cafe. In the second episode, Sarah collapses with stomach pains while she is working in the cafe. Eileen takes Sarah to the hospital in a taxi. When Gail arrives at the hospital she thanks Eileen for helping Sarah. Gail also tells Eileen that Todd won't be welcome at the hospital. Meanwhile, Fiz worries that Chesney will be put into care because she thinks that Les failed to impress the social worker. Sarah delivers her baby boy through Cesarean section. The baby is rushed to intensive care. In the third episode, Martin is furious at Katy for turning his phone off. Nick and David rush into the flat to inform Martin of Sarah and the baby's
Gail is having a hard time understanding why Sarah won't go to see Billy. Todd sneaks into Sarah's room to try and get her to let him see his son Billy, but she cries out for help. Martin comes rushing in and pulls Todd away. When Sarah finally goes to see her son Billy, she is overwhelmed with happiness. On her way out of the incubator room, alarm bells start ringing from Billy's incubator. Todd returns home after not being allowed to see his son. The phone rings, it's Audrey telling Todd to get to the hospital as soon as possible. Todd puts the phone down before Audrey can finish. Todd rushes to the hospital to see his son, when Audrey has the task of telling him that Billy's dead.
Kevin, Tyronne and Tommy are annoyed at Sally's interferrence in the garage accounts and how the garage is run. When Les is called into work on his day off, he persuades Janice to look after Chesney. Sarah returns home an emotional wreck.
Baby Billies Funeral takes place with Todd desperate to say goodbye.
Kirk and Chesney watch Leanne sleep. Sunita asks Shelley if she'll go with her to a pub. Shelley declines because she has a date with Charlie. After some persuasion, Shelley agrees to cancel her date with Charlie. Sunita, thinking that Charlie knows that Shelley canceled the date, says sorry. A furious Charlie gives Shelley an ultimatum, him or Sunita. Shelley choices Sunita. After drowning his sorrows in the pub, Charlie sleeps with Bev. It's Bethany's birthday and Todd attempts to give Sarah a present to give to her. Sarah emotionally tells Todd to stay away from them both.
Vera's worried about Jack's health and so much to his dismay, she buys him an exercise bike. Sunita drops a box on Dev's foot and so he rushes to the clinic. There, he also gets his test results, all is well and he heads off to celebrate with Maya. Nick and Leanne run into each other on the street, at first they pass each other without a word but then Leanne engages him in conversation. They are pleasant with each other and then they both confess how nice it was to see the other. But as Nick turns his back on his ex-wife, her face drops and she looks quite evil. Earlier, Maria warned Nick to stay away from Leanne. Shelly wonders if she's done the right thing in throwing Bev out but doesn't reveal that to her. Meanwhile, Bev is so angry that she heads to see Charlie. He accuses her of being a terrible mother for how she's treated Shelly and he receives a slap. Later, Bev cries her heart out to Deidre and tells her that she doesn't want to lose another daughter. Bev heads back to
Norris decides to conduct a sÃ©ance to see off the ghost of Vera Lomax but when the candles start to flicker and everybody hears a thump things start to get a bit surreal! Roy surprises Hayley with a special dinner when news of his and Tracy's annulment papers come through. Charlie gets comfy in the Rovers but when Fred catches him helping himself to beers in the back, he warns Shelley not to let her personal life get in the way of how she runs the pub. Fred reminds her that they've already lost one good barmaid in such circumstances . . . he tells her that he wants their staffing problems solved by the time he gets back from a Newton and Ridley meeting . . . Dev gets an urgent call from the health center. They inform him that they need to run more tests because they suspect that he's got bowel cancer! Later, Dev can't bring himself to tell Maya and so instead confides in Sunita. Sunita, later, breaks down in private.
Dev finally tells Maya that he may have cancer. Shelley gives Leanne a barmaid job at the Rovers, only for Fred to come home from Brighton and sack Leanne. Fred brings the infamous Liz back from Brighton with him to work behind the bar. Chrlie solves Norris' suspected ghost problems. Dev returns home to find a note from Maya saying that she's left him. Karen is shocked to see Liz behind the bar at the Rovers.
It's Steve's 30th birthday. Karen is furious when Steve receives a card from Tracy for baby Amy. Karen plasters poster sized images of Steve as a baby all over the street. Liz remarks that he looked a lot like Amy does now. Sally continues to stick her nose in at the garage. Cilla tells Les that she's not going anywhere.
Maria is unhappy with the prospect of Nick moving to Nottingham for the chance of running his company's new branch that will be opened. The factory girls aren't pleased with Danny's new rule that hair nets must be worn. Sarah is angry to hear that Katy knew about Todd and Karl before she did. When Sunita finally takes the pregnancy test, she is upset because she isn't pregnant. Leanne continues to flirt with Nick. Candice and Fiz are furious when they see Nick and Leanne together because he promised his girlfriend Maria that he would stay away from her.
The more attention Dev pays to Sunita's poor health, the more jealous Maya gets. Frankie is baffled when Danny unexpectedly disappears for the day.
Dev has second thoughts about his impending wedding to Maya. Maya is angry to find out that Dev is paying for all of Sunita's private medical treatment.The police arrive in the middle of a romantic meal with his wife Frankie. They question Danny about an attack made on Vinny. Vinny was Danny's best friend, before he had an affair with his wife Frankie.
Maya is still suspicious of Dev and Sunita having an affair. Thinking that Sunita is pregnant, she tells Dev that she wants to start a family with him. Vera is enraged when Hayley gives Leanne a job at the cafe while Hayley and Roy are away. Frankie still thinks that Danny was the culprit who beat Vinny up. Tracy is annoyed when she finds out that Hayley and Roy are going away for at least two weeks because she will have no one to look after Amy. Mike and Danny finalize their partnership at the factory. Emily returns home after staying with Mavis for a while. Dev accompanies Sunita where she is told that she's not pregnant. Sunita is relieved until she is told that she has a benign tumour on her pituitary gland and an aneurysm.
Candice thinks that Audrey is purposely ignoring the lack of work that Sarah is doing because she's her grand-daughter. Danny's son Jamie causes a stir at the factory. Karen, busy bemusing over there being no resemblance between the two, accidentally gets her hair stuck in the sewing machine. Lucky, she pulls herself free, but isn't very happy when she realizes she's pulled some of her expensive hair extensions out. Sally continues to interfer with the garage. She finds out that Dev gets his car serviced for free, while he has a contract for Kevin to service all the cabs. Sally therefore tells Dev that he wont get his car done for free anymore. Dev tells Sally that he'll take his business elsewhere.
Frankie, upset about Jamie still being in police custody, arranges to meet Vinny. What Vinny doesn't know is that he's actually going to meet Danny. Sally tries to apologize to Dev in a hope that he will carry on his contract at the garage. Tracy goes behind Deirdre's and Ken's back and asks Blanche to mind Amy. Un-be-known to Blanche, Tracy just wanted someone to look after Amy so she could have a couple of drinks in the Rovers. Maya continues to purposely blurt out to everyone that Sunita has a life-threatening illness. When Ciaran overhears Maya, he goes straight round to ask Sunita if it's true. When Danny declines Vinny's offer of dropping the charges against Jamie if he can sleep with Frankie, Danny offers him the money from the sale of his house.
Jamie is released from police custody. Although Frankie is happy to have him back, she is upset because the money that Danny used to bail him out was the money from the sale of their last house. Frankie had her heart set on spending that money on her dream house and Danny was supposed to be giving Mike some of the money for a share in Underworld.
In the first episode, Mike is baffled when Danny's cheque for his share in the factory bounces. When Kevin refuses to back down on his decision to let Rosie go to Oakhill School, Sally visits the school behind Kevin's back. Following her routine to sneak into Les' house through the back door, Cilla and Les continue their affair behind Janice's back. Un-be-known to Les, Janice is on her way home early. In the second episode, Janice catches Les and Cilla together. Les is given an ultimatum from Janice. Cilla is happy to have split the couple up, or are they still together? Danny has to get a loan out to pay Mike for his share in the factory.
Janice feels guilty about kicking Chesney out of the house. Jamie starts work at the factory as a thank you to his dad for paying off Vinny and therefore getting him out of police custody. Penny and Ciaran arrange a dinner date - is it the start of an affair?
Sarah is not at all pleased when she finds out that Martin and Katy are back together. Sunita goes for another brain scan, but she goes on her own. Tracy asks Ciaran if he's gay because his flat is so clean.
Martin infuriates Gail when he books a holiday for himself and Katy. Fred can't wait to tell Mike that Penny is having an affair with Ciaran. Harry continues to get himself down over his job at the factory.
In the first episode, Cilla raises the stakes in a bid to get Les back. Mike is very suspicious of Penny and Ciaran, following Fred's confession. Harry quits his job at the factory. In the second episode, Janice catches Les and Cilla in a passionate embrace in the back of a flash car. Ciaran begins to grow on Tracy and she begins to like him.
Cilla is over the moon to have finally split Les and Janice up. She is less than happy to be pretending that she's inherited a fortune. Harry gives Eileen the opportunity of a lifetime, he asks her to join him on his travels.
Cilla feels guilty when Les goes on a spending spree on credit. She therefore confesses to Les that the money that she thought she was inheriting, went to cats. Will Les have a change of heart and beg Janice to take him back? Ashley proposes to Claire, but she turns him down.
Dev comforts Sunita when she takes a bad turn. When Claire tells Maria about Ashley's marriage proposal, she is happy for her. When Claire informs her that Ashley only proposed so that she could be Josh's mother, Maria isn't as pleased. Les goes back to the skip to try and get his furniture back. Maya brags that it would be her wedding day today if they had gone to the Caribbean.
In the first episode, Shelley warns Sunita not to fall in love with Dev again. Penny gives Ciaran a cheque for her investment in his pub. Tracy and Ciaran get very close. In the second episode, Tracy and Ciaran try to hide their romance. After a heart-to-heart with Ashley, Claire agrees to marry him and be Josh's mother.
Unconvinced that Dev is in love with her, Sunita decides to leave Weatherfield. Ciaran puts his pub plans into action.
Danny's other son, Warren arrives to stay in Weatherfield with his family. Katy takes her driving test. Maya collects her stuff from Dev's flat.
Dev gives Tyrone and Kirk money to clear up the mess in his flat that Maya did. As Sarah and Candice are still bickering in the salon, Audrey decides that she has to let Sarah go. Warren sets his sights on Candice. Dev and Sunita are together. He tells Steve that their romance is "the real thing."
In the first episode, Sunita prepares for her operation. Dev is overwhelmed by everything that is going on and he proposes to Sunita. Audrey sacks Sarah, much to the displeasure of Gail. In the second episode, Candice is furious with new boy Warren when she finds out the truth about his so-called football career. Tracy is more than happy when Ciaran (literally) throws his cash on her.
Sunita still hasn't given Dev and answer to his proposal. Will he propose to her again or will she jump in before him? Tracy hides all of Ciaran's money.
Dev and Sunita spread the news of their engagement. Leanne starts work in the same club that Jamie works as a bouncer. Upon her first day, she gets herself and Jamie fired.
When Les and Cilla return from their weekend away in Blackpool, they are bombarded by Tommy and Angela, whom tell everyone in the Rovers how they left poor little Chesney on his own. Their neighbours feel sorry for Chesney and are further sympathetic when they here that the electricity went off so he had to stay in the dark. Maya goes into Sunita's flat and steals her birth certificate.

Sophie's frustrated that her parents aren't paying her as much attention as Rosie. The fact that Sally and Kevin get all dressed up to go out to dinner with one of Rosie's classmate doesn't help matters. Janice arranges a date with taxi driver Patrick, but there's confusion when he turns up at the flat in his taxi, Leanne thinks the taxi's for her and Jamie! When Janice comes out ready for her date, she's greeted by Les. Unwilling to admit that she had a date with Patrick, Janice tells Les to take her to the bingo! Liz and the Barlow's trick Steve into going to London with them for the taping of the family quiz. He's not happy when he finds out what's really going on. He refuses to do the show, but under pressure from everybody else after the show's producers threaten to make them pay their own hotel bill if Steve doesn't participate, he reluctantly agrees. Later, with just one round to go, the Barlow's decide to gamble and Steve is chosen to answer questions on an unknown topic. T
Getting all excited over breakfast, Ashley asks Claire to marry him, not in 2007 but ASAP. He tells her they're happy and so why not put it off? She says yes and they start planning a summer wedding for 2005! In the shop, Vera overhears the couple making plans and they tell her that they've brought the wedding forward. Later, having visited the church, Ashley tells Claire that there's nothing available for another 12 months at least. She's disappointed. Ashley says that the only thing they could offer him was Christmas day. He tells her that he's put they're names down for it and they're both delighted - aw! Shelley is surprised when Charlie heads for a night out leaving her to run the bar on her own. Later, when Charlie returns 2 hours later than he said he'd be, Shelley says that she doesn't mind that Charlie doesn't help out with the bar. Maria can't find it in herself to tell Tyrone that he can't come on holiday with her and tells Candice all about it. Candice suggests that she go instead of Tyrone and Maria thinks about it but as the time of departure grows ever-nearer a decision must be made. Candice decides to take matters into her own hands and tells Tyrone that Maria doesn't want to go on holiday with him. Ty storms out, clearly upset. Maria tells Candice that she went too far and follows Ty and tells him that she actually does want to go on holiday with him. She doesn't seem very sure that she made the right decision though when Tyrone acts a little too enthusiastic! Shelley is planning to see Sunita to see how she's doing but Charlie objects since he's staying home tonight . . . at first Shelley agrees to stay and then she sees Charlie laughing with Ciaran and decides to go and later, as Shelley heads out the door, Charlie tells her that he really doesn't want her to go out. Shelley asks Charlie how he wants to spend his birthday, he tells her he's not fussed about birthdays and wants to forget the whole thing. They finally agree to complain to the council and Emily sends Norris next door to check out the old bath in the garden but Cilla and Les notice that Norris is next door and accuse him of looking at Cilla's underwear that hanging on the line! Norris denies any such wrong-doing but Cilla warns that if Norris complains to the council then she'll complain about him to the police! Later, Janice overhears Norris and Emily plotting their visit to the council and tells them that they can't do that because her name is still on the rent book. Karen decides that she wants her share of Tracey's car and she and the Barlows eventually agree that Karen can have the car once a week! Karen makes the most of her first day with the car, taking Steve out to the country where she plans to conceive their child! But the mood is spoiled by all the baby stuff in the car. Karen and Steve return to the street but since they had to stop for petrol on the way back, Karen decides to get her money's worth and drives around the block until she gets an empty tank. Frankie complains to Vera about how board she is with being stuck in the house all day. Then she has the idea of getting a job, she goes to see Danny who tells her that he doesn't think she'd get along with the other girls. Frankie says she'll think about it but later she decides that it probably wouldn't be such a good idea. Meanwhile, Vera gets all worked up about the promise of Prince Charles coming to open her house. Frankie says she'll take Vera shopping for an outfit for the occ
Kelly continues on her quest to make Sean straight! After a night out they share his bed while watching a movie. The Barlows are forced to take the bus to town after the air in their tyres is let down! Tracy threatens Karen who denies any involvement. Later, the Barlow's return to find their wheels have been stolen! Tracy breaks into Karen and Steve's flat with Liz's keys and steals them back! Les wonders how he's going to explain to the council how the bath ended up downstairs. Charlie advises them to put that tub in the backyard and bring in the old bathroom stuff and tell the council that it was there fault! Later, the ploy seems to work and the council commission Charlie for the rebuilding work! Frankie arranges to see Warren play footie so has to cancel her shopping trip with Vera. Instead she lends Vera her handbag and a few other items so that she would look the part in all them "posh shops"! Later, as Jack and Ron share a few cans, Jack gets a phone call from the hospital

In the second episode of the night, Dev is calld out to one of his shops because the alarm is going off. When Dev gets there, he opens the door and it explodes. At the end of this episode, Dev is lying on top of a car.
In the third episode, Dev desperately returns home to try and save his wife, Sunita.
Dev desperately tries to help Sunita. The police arrive at Dev's flat, but Maya lies and they. Maya has tied Sunita to the gas cooker and she puts the gas on. Dev is tied up in another room. Maya sets fire to the shop and watches in her car at the end of the street as the shop goes up in flames. Luckily, all the neighbours join forces in a bid to save them. Ciaran saves Dev. The flat explodes and Shelley thinks she's lost him. Then Charlies staggers out of the building with Sunita over his shoulder. When Maya sees this, she tries to run them over, but crashes into a building instead. Even this doesn't kill her and she revs up her engine for another go, until a lorry crashes into her. Is Maya dead?
Maya puts her plan in to action to get Dev.
Episode 1: Ken wants rid of Liz and Liz wants out of Ken's so she decides to get a job! Liz applies as a barmaid at the Weatherfield Arms and gets the job! Steve congratulates her mum but she tells him that her living conditions aren't ideal. Later, Maria comes home to find that she has a new flat mate: Liz! Meanwhile, Ken discovers that he has a new house mate: Blanche's friend Wanda! Tyrone and Maria have slightly different versions of events from their holiday! Ty says they're had a very romantic time while Maria reveals that she met another man! Vera relieves Frankie of her duties as housekeeper and Jack's new pigeons arrive! After a conversation with Ken, Vera figures out what's really going on. She tells Tyrone that Jack and his friend will regret making a fool out of her! Later, she tells Jack that she's called Mr Broxbourne's office and invited him for dinner on Friday. Jack quickly tells Ron who calls Vera and they set up dinner for Friday . . . Wanda reveals to Blanche that since Kenneth isn't married he's fair game! Later, she tries to move in on Ken but ends up scaring him more than anything else! Katie admires Amy and tells Tracy that she wants a baby. Tracy can't really see the logic! Fred in faced with the fact that he has to confess his sins to Ashley. He puts it off all day but when Danny sets Ashley on the trail, Fred is forced to tell him that he's lost the shop. Ashley is very disappointed and upset and tells Fred that he'll never forgive him for ruining his future!
Mike lets Fred have the Butchers. Tyronne learns the truth about what Maria got up to on holiday.
Maria borrows £200 off Audrey so that she can pay Tyronne back. Karen overhears Liz talking to Steve about the Christmas present that he got Amy and she goes into a fit of rage. Claire asks Fred if he'll give her away at her wedding. Karen and Tracy come to blows again when she refuses to sell the car.
Candice forgives Warren after he snogged Katie, Martin isn't so forgiving though and during an aggressive game of footie, knocks Warren down and warns him to stay away from his girlfriend! Ty worries that Maria is only going out with his because she feels sorry for him. Claire decides to try and boost his self-esteem and convinces Ashley to let Tyrone be his best man. Over lunch, Jason tells Violet that he loves her! But she doesn't say it back, they get into a huge fight over it and Violet storms out! Later, Violet dumps Jason but quickly tells him not to go and she says she loves him too - she's just afraid that if she lets somebody get too close to her that she's going to end up getting hurt. Jason promises never to let that happen!
Martins jealousy gets the better of him and he ends up injuring Warren in a 'friendly' football game in the street. Thus resulting in Warren being unable to make his debut for Weatherfield County.
The Underworld party gets going very slowly, but as the party gets into full swing, there's disaster for Karen. She emerges from the toilet in tears and quickly heads home . . .
Warren chickens out of telling Candice about Jamie and Leanne coming to the party. She doesn't find out until they get in the car! Fred, Martin and Tyrone argue over who gets which best man duty. The doctor's finally confirm that Karen has miscarried.
Karen and Steve try to come to terms with their loss . . . Karen decides to go to work but after Janice sees that all is not right, she goes home. Later, Steve comes home to discover empty bottles across the flat. He finds Karen in a heap on the floor of the living room . . . After all the Christmas bickering at the Barlow's gets too much, Tracy decides that she and Amy will spend Christmas with Peter.
Despite her family's objections, Tracy gets ready to go and spend Christmas at Peter's. As she's about to set off, she remembers she's left a bag in the house. Since Amy's already settled, Tracy locks her in the car and quickly nips inside to get her things . . . Meanwhile, after arguing with Steve, Karen walks out and when she sees Tracy abandon the car on the street, she can't help taking it for a spin . . . When Tracy comes outside moments later, the car and Amy have gone!
As the Barlows stay at home, out of their minds with worry, Steve and Tracy race around Manchester in search of Karen. Karen and Steve keep in contact on the phone but Tracy blows their initial chances of finding her when Karen hears Tracy's with her husband! Liz tries to calm everybody and she and Steve beg everybody not to call the police. Later, Tracy's fears worsen when she hears Karen tell Steve that he wants Tracy to suffer like she's suffered! Karen hangs up and tells baby Amy that her baby died! Steve soon gets another call from Karen telling him that she's at the red rec. Steve takes Tracy but they struggle to find a way in! When they finally do get in they find the Barlow's car up in flames and of course Steve and Tracy assume the worst . . .
Steve tries to convince Tracy not to go to the police and get Karen arrested for kidnapping Amy. Karen is shocked to discover that Steve thought that she had harmed Amy. Jack has to have his Christmas dinner with Frankie Baldwin and the family because him and Vera had an argument over him giving her last years Christmas card. Steve makes a decision - will he forgive Karen or tell her to go?

Fred has to stand in for Tyrone to give the best man's speech when last minute nerves get the better of him. The speech is a success, as is that of Yvonne (Claire's mother) who tells everyone that decisions are hard to make but Claire has made the right one today! After Katy's shock proposal earlier, Martin is left a little unsettled and bites Tyrone's head off when he's approached to do the best man's speech. Later, Martin explains to Katy that he's not ready to get married and that if they did choose to get married he'd want them to make the decision together. Karen can't quite believe what she's hearing. It takes some convincing by Steve to get her to leave but eventually she does so. She tells Steve that she'll go and stay with a mate. Although he doesn't show it in front of Karen, Steve is clearly devastated by her departure - he breaks down in tears when she's gone out the door . . .
Deirdre secretly mets up with Bev. Liz tries to console her son. As Claire and Ashley prepare to go on their honeymoon, she declares that she in scared of tunnels. When she suggests flying, Ashley is forced to admit that he's scared of flying. In the end, the newly-married couple decide to take the ferry. Tracy is over the moon when she hears that Karen has gone for good. Jim phones Liz and Steve to wish them a late Merry Christmas and Steve doesn't tell him that Karen has gone, even when Jim starts telling Steve that he's mucky to be with Karen, especially is she makes him happy. Meanwhile, Angela inadvertently gives Katy an idea on how to get Martin to marry her.
Having informed Shelley that theres something wrong with Bev, Deirdre sneaks Shelley out the back and into her house. Bev confronts her daughter Shelley about Charlie. Martin apologizes to Warren for hurting his leg. Roy has trouble with on of the customers.
Katy lets slip to Violet that she secretly plans to get pregnant so that Martin will have to marry her. Norris is curious as to what happened to Karen. Steve drunkenly humiliates Tracy while he is in the Rovers. However, Tracy hasn't given up and when she helps him home, she tries it on with him again.
