Steve and Becky didn't have a very good start to the year as they continued to argue about having children. "No kid of mine would amount to any good. Not with my rotten genes!" Becky declared when Steve pushed her. Will that be the end of the discussion? Meanwhile, Michelle had a motherly chat with Ryan to check that he and Sian weren't having unprotected sex, while Sophie continued to give her mate a hard time for breaking her chastity vow. Elsewhere, Audrey was annoyed when Natasha forgot they were supposed to be going to a stylists dinner party together and decided to call male escort Lewis instead. Lewis accepted the invitation much to Audrey's delight. Finally, Steve and Becky pondered whether they had rushed into getting married and what the future would hold now that they had reached such an obstacle.
Audrey prepared for her evening with male escort Lewis but got cold feet at the last minute. Meanwhile, Tyrone told Molly he’d been talking to the wife of a big motoring company owner in Chester and she’d hinted that they might have a job for him. Elsewhere, Becky paid the Croppers a visit to chat about her problems with Steve and to tell them that she didn’t want children. Hayley and Roy were a shoulder for her to cry on but when she returned to the Rovers it was clear that Steve was growing tired of her attitude towards starting a family. Lewis finally persuaded Audrey to leave the house with him and they shared a lovely evening together. In fact, Audrey was in such a good mood that she later offered to pay for Gail’s honeymoon as a wedding present. Finally, poor Becky spent the night on the sofa after her and Steve failed to resolve their problems.
Things go from bad to worse for Joe when Gail tells him that the offer on the house has fallen through. How will he ever pay off his debts now? Elsewhere, relations are strained at the Rovers as Steve and Becky argue about having kids. Becky heads over to ask the Croppers for their advice but what will they tell her? Finally, Molly is pleased when she hears that Tyrone has a job interview at a garage in Chester. Tyrone of course is oblivious as to why his wife is so keen to leave the Street.
Steve rolls in drunk after another row with Becky. Disgusted at the state her husband is in, Becky tells him to sleep on the sofa. Meanwhile, Kevin and Sally have an emotional trip to the hospital to find out about Sally’s lumpectomy. Will they tell the girls about Sally’s illness? Finally, Rick plays games with Joe when he asks Tina if he can view her flat. Joe is horrified and dashes over there but will he be too late?
Rick's demands drive Joe to plummet to new depths as he attempts to lay his hands on £4k before his wedding day. He decides to turn to Ted for help - but does he tell him the truth? Elsewhere Ken and George clash again, this time over Simon's schooling and Steve and Becky's rows continue.

As Tina struggles to fight her attraction to Nick, David is suspicious there's something going on between the pair. Elsewhere, as the wedding party head back to the Rovers, Rick lies in wait for Joe. Is he about to spring a nasty surprise on the groom? Meanwhile, Ken and Peter go head to head at the council planning meeting as Peter seeks planning permission for Leanne's bar.
Molly tried to make amends with Tyrone on their anniversary and promised him that the second year of their marriage would be better than the first. Did she really mean it? Meanwhile, Graeme informed Rosie that there was a sexy picture of her on an advert at the bus stop but that she had a pair of men’s hands over her chest. Rosie was horrified. Elsewhere, Norris was gobsmacked to see Mary back in Weatherfield. Why has Mary returned? Finally, Kevin and Sally were furious about the grubby advert that Rosie was the star of but their feisty daughter defended herself and her new career choice. "Money talks around here and in two years I’ll be rolling in it. And where will you be mum in two years' time?" goaded Rosie. Poor Sally was shocked at her daughter's words, where would she be she wondered? Kevin was furious with Rosie and threw her out of house before comforting his tearful wife.
Rosie and Sophie discussed their parents' reaction to Rosie's advert and began jumping to all sorts of conclusions as to why they were being so uptight. Sophie admitted that they had been acting strangely and concluded that they must be splitting up. Meanwhile, Norris persuaded Mary to spend the evening in the Rovers so that he could avoid being cooped up in her camper van. Norris was surprised however when Mary revealed that she'd met a man on her travels. Was he jealous? Finally, Sophie and Rosie went home to confront their parents but were shocked when Sally admitted that she had breast cancer. Sophie sobbed and told them she thought they were splitting up. "We're not splitting up. We love each other and we love you too," declared Kevin as Sally hugged the girls.
Molly prepares to tell Tyrone that their marriage is over. Ryan and Sophie discover to their peril that Michelle and Sophie's dad view their relationship very differently. David does his best to put off some potential buyers for number 8.
Tyrone struggles to take in what Molly is saying and asks her if she is having an affair. Steve and Becky are still at each other's throats at the Rovers - much to Lloyd's dismay. Kevin struggles to keep his mind on Sally and her illness aware of what is going on over the road at the Dobbs' house.
Dev finds himself caught up in the middle of the Dobbs' marriage problems when he offers to help Molly and Tyrone accuses them of having an affair.

He's a good listener and as Rita confesses how lonely she's been he asks her to start back in the Kabin. Audrey meanwhile confides in Deirdre, admitting she's made a fool of herself by falling for a younger man who was the only glimmer of light in her life. Leanne becomes suspicious about Peter. Having heard about the McDonalds adoption plans Leanne mentions to Peter that she'd like to be Simon's proper mum. Hitting on an idea Peter heads out. Leanne wonders what he's up to. Sophie's attempts to reunite Sian and Ryan backfire. Sian's devastated as a row ends her relationship with Ryan. Sophie's there to comfort her but she's stunned when she goes to console Ryan and he tries to kiss her. As Sophie rushes off Ryan is left kicking himself. Elsewhere Janice looks forward to fish and chip night with Trev.

As Natasha books in for an abortion, Nick's still reeling following the bombshell news that she's pregnant. But having been forced back to reality, Leanne tells him she's moved on and he should do the same. Back at home, Leanne throws herself into her relationship with Peter, while Nick heads out to talk to Natasha. As he tells her that his future is with her, bringing up their baby, Natasha insists it's not that simple… Did Natasha go through with the abortion and has Nick left it too late? Meanwhile, when Fiz arrives back from Majorca early, John is about to confess all. But when she cuts him off by telling him she's pregnant, John's stunned. Will he come clean about Colin as Fiz suggests they give their marriage one last chance? Elsewhere, Rita orders Audrey to face the world again as she's needed in the salon; Peter demands free haircuts at the salon until Lewis's debt is repaid; and Audrey finally finds the strength to return to work telling David that she's well and truly back in control.
As Nick fusses round Natasha, he can't wait to tell everyone the good news. Panicking, she insists it's too early, but agrees to see the doctor. As Nick tells Leanne he now knows Natasha's the one, it's clear he's trying to convince himself as much as her. But alone with her GP, Natasha reveals she's had an abortion. Nick clearly has no idea and bursts in introducing himself as the baby's father. Is Nick about to get a rude awakening? Meanwhile, John's determined to prove himself to Fiz and sets about looking for work. Peter offers him a job at the bookies but when it leads to another row between Peter and Leanne, John wonders if he's hired after all. Elsewhere, Becky's desperate for a cigarette but stays strong for the sake of the adoption; Sian decides to join the church choir so she can continue seeing Sophie; Steve may not be quite so committed as Becky when it comes to giving up smoking; and Sophie feels guilty over using the church in the way that Sian has suggested, but can't resist the idea.
Natasha's in a state of panic as she leaves the doctors' with Nick. With Nick busy talking to Gail, she checks on patient confidentiality. She's off the hook for now, but knows she can't keep it up for long. When Gail's scathing of Nick's news, insisting a baby won't fix his relationship, he's determined to make a public show. So when Fiz and John proudly announce in the Rovers that they're expecting a baby, Nick reveals they're starting a family too. Natasha's horrified and when she finds Leanne crying in the backyard, will she come clean? Meanwhile, with talk of pregnancy filling the pub, Becky's hurt that Steve doesn't seem to be taking the adoption seriously as he's still smoking. Will Steve be able to convince her otherwise? Elsewhere, Ken and Deirdre's marriage reaches crisis point as they discuss the adultery which has littered their relationship; Leanne's not happy as Peter forces Deirdre to resign then hires John; and John sets fire to all of Colin's papers.
Becky sneaks outside for a cigarette while she and Steve await the adoption panel's verdict, only to find herself in the company of a committee member. Natasha quizzes Fiz for information about her pregnancy in a bid to satisfy Nick's curiosity as the couple move into Dev's flat, and Sally dashes Sophie's plans to meet Sian. Elsewhere, Owen plans a date with Eileen.
After trying to argue their case, Steve is forced to drag an irate Becky from the room, only to discover that a damning reference from her half-sister Kylie spoiled their chances. Natasha resorts to seducing Nick in a desperate attempt to get pregnant again, and Chesney asks Katy to be his date at Roy and Hayley's wedding. Meanwhile, Dev makes a grab at Aadi when he runs into the road.
When Dawn visits Steve and Becky to talk about their options, Becky finds a moment to get her hands on Kylie's address. She's shocked when she arrives at a nice house in a nice area, but Kylie hasn't changed a bit and when she gloats about Becky not getting a kid, the pair are soon scrapping. As the sisters rake over their troubled past, will they find any common ground? Meanwhile, Claire's looking after Asha, Aadi and Simon, but when her mum has an accident and calls for help, she's forced to ask Sophie and Sian to mind the kids. The girls agree and Claire's relieved, but when she arrives home to find them snogging on the sofa, she's gobsmacked. Elsewhere, Eileen and Owen have a successful date and share a kiss on Eileen's doorstep; Natasha's on edge when Nick insists they attend an early pregnancy class; and Sophie gets her exam results.
Sunita has collected the twins from Claire's, but when Aadi is taken ill and suddenly won't wake up, he's rushed to hospital. The Alahans are devastated to be told that Aadi's suffered a fractured skull and has a bleed on the brain. Will he come through surgery and what caused his sudden injury? Meanwhile, Becky has taken a bolshy Kylie back to the Rovers but no-one is quite sure what to make of her. She's much the same as Becky was when she arrived on the Street, and while the Croppers are happy to give her a chance, Steve, Liz and Michelle are less welcoming - especially when she sets her sights on Ciaran! Elsewhere, Eileen's confused by Owen's mixed signals; Emily and Norris discover an old letter behind the skirting board addressed to Ken Barlow; and Owen offers Eileen some advice on how to get her landlord to drop the price of the house.
As the Alahans pray for Aadi, they can't understand how this has happened. Claire admits she has no idea either, but keeps quiet about leaving the kids with Sophie and Sian. Aadi comes through his operation, but is on life support. When a nurse spots a bruise on his arm, social services are alerted and Dev and Sunita are horrified as they're questioned by child protection officers. Meanwhile, Kylie spends the evening insulting Michelle and flirting with Ciaran. Eventually Michelle snaps and throws a punch at Kylie, but it's Becky who gets caught in the crossfire. As Kylie milks it, enjoying the trouble she's causing, who will Becky side with? Elsewhere, Hayley's hen party is a raucous affair, much to Mary's distaste; Claire asks Sophie about what went on when she was left with the kids; Ken's intrigued when Norris hands him the old letter from Susan, his first girlfriend; and Owen offers Eileen some extra work on the side doing his books
Dev and Sunita are relieved to hear that Aadi is awake, but they're on edge as the police speak to the youngster alone. He can't recall anything and the officers move on to Claire. At the Peacocks', Claire's interviewed - but under pressure she fails to admit that she left Aadi with Sophie and Sian and claims all the kids were fine when they were collected. Later, when the Peacocks face the Alahans in the street, the mud-slinging starts… Meanwhile, when Becky discovers Kylie's done a runner after the bust-up at the Rovers, she tracks her to a house in suburbia. Becky's stunned to find her playing with a 3-year-old boy, Max. What is she up to? Elsewhere, Ken decides to try to contact his ex-girlfriend Susan to find out what she wanted to talk to him about all those years ago, and a desperate Natasha steals Fiz's baby scan picture as she continues to fake her pregnancy.
On the day of Roy and Hayley's wedding, Claire's mortified that Dev has dragged up her history of post-natal depression and finally tells the police that she left the kids with Sophie and Sian. Sally's livid as the officers question the girls and turns on Claire, demanding to know why she's accusing them. Later, as a treat that Becky has organised, Roy, Hayley and their wedding guests travel to the venue by steam train. During the journey, another row breaks out over the Aadi situation and Claire snaps, revealing to all that while Sophie was meant to be minding the kids, she was snogging Sian… Meanwhile, as Roy mans the footplate of the train, Hayley's hidden away in the last carriage. However, Mary's plotting and after her invite snub, she wants revenge. Putting a plan into action, Mary uncouples the rear carriage and by the time Hayley realises, it's too late - she, Becky and Fiz have been left stranded. Will they make it on time or has Mary derailed Hayley's dream wedding? Elsewhere, Natasha continues to lie to Nick and passes off Fiz's scan picture as her own, and Liz tries to negotiate peace at the Rovers.
With all eyes on her, Sophie vehemently denies Claire's claim, as the Websters turn on Claire. Gossip runs riot through the wedding congregation, and Sophie and Sian are terrified of what questions lie ahead. Later, Kevin picks up on Sophie's distress and assures her she can tell him anything. Will Sophie open up to her dad? Meanwhile, as Becky and Fiz pull out all the stops to get Hayley to her wedding, Roy is sweating. With the guests and the registrar growing impatient, will Hayley make it up the aisle in time to say 'I do'? Elsewhere, Nick's upset by Gail's lack of support for him and Natasha, and Chesney has a memorable first date with Katy.
As an awkward Sophie opens up to Kevin, he can't believe what she is saying about her relationship with Sian. Will he accept his daughter's sexuality? Seeing how much Kevin is struggling with the situation, both girls become terrified of their parents' reactions and decide to run away. But as Sophie heads for the door, Rosie discovers her plan. Nick was relieved when Natasha answered yes and agreed to marry him. The factory staff were all delighted, except for a concerned Fiz.
Armed with information from Natasha's medical records, Gail marched around to her flat. Natasha was forced to admit the truth about the baby when confronted with the evidence.
Nick was devastated by Natasha's betrayal but ordered interfering Gail to leave.
A frantic Nick called for an ambulance when he failed to wake Natasha, who had taken an overdose.
Peter takes charge of drunken Carla but she refuses to admit her problem. Becky feels jealous of the Windasses' adoption success. Ciaran invites Ryan to join him on a trip to Glasgow.
It is Jack's 74th birthday. Tyrone invites his friends to a surprise party at the Rovers. Sally blames Sophie for getting the choir girls drunk. Sophie is worried that the pastor saw her and Sian snogging. Nick sulks about the cost and delay of the bar repairs and is delighted to discover that Leanne has already got Owen working on it, and they still expect to open on time. John worries as the silent calls continue at the bookies. Jack gets sentimental as he listens to Vera's favourite records. He seeks reassurance from Tyrone that he and Molly are stable. Jack arrives at the party and is thrilled about the surprise. The factory girls wonder if Carla is pregnant when she refuses wine. John goes to see Charlotte. Jack reminisces with the party-goers and makes a heartfelt speech, thanking everyone for their friendship. He toasts Molly, Tyrone and baby Jack. The pastor appears at No.4 to speak to Sophie and Sian. Nick goes with Leanne to her wedding dress fitting but leaves as he is overcome after seeing her in her dress. Claire and Ashley still blame each other for their predicament. During a quiet moment with Molly, Jack tells her that he overheard her conversation with Kevin and knows that he's baby Jack's father.
Molly insists her affair with Kevin ended long ago. Jack tells Molly that he and Vera stuck together because they cared about each other, imploring her to either tell Tyrone the truth now and let him get on with his life or keep the truth buried forever. Molly promises to do the right thing. John tells Charlotte he can't go on if things continue. The pastor tells Sophie and Sian that they should suppress their desires, which are merely a test from God. They decide to quit the choir. Nick relieves the builders for the night. Kevin and Ashley get very drunk. Sally has to drag Kevin out of the Rovers after he tests Jack's patience by getting friendly with him. Charlotte makes a move on John but he rejects her. She says she's lonely, he at least has Fiz. Jack slips out of the Rovers and, after experiencing a dizzy spell, returns to No.9 to listen to more of Vera's favourite records. He falls asleep while thinking of Vera. Leanne asks Nick why he left her at the wedding fitters. He says he couldn't bear to see her in her wedding dress, as she should be marrying him, not Peter. Jack sees Vera and dances with her. Leanne refuses to call off her wedding, as she loves Peter. Tyrone, Molly and Connie leave the party and find Jack dead in his chair at No.9. As they reel in shock, Tyrone says a quiet goodbye to his "Dad".
Tyrone has been hit hard by Jack's death. He wishes he'd had a chance to say goodbye. Nick focuses on business at the bar and ignores Leanne. Owen and the builders finish the work on schedule, in time for the grand opening tomorrow night. Connie breaks the news about Jack's death to Emily and Rita. The word soon spreads. Molly tells Kevin about her conversation with Jack. She's appalled when he asks her if Jack told anyone, instead of being worried about how Tyrone is coping. Molly feels terrible about how kind Jack was to her. Tyrone is overcome when a photograph of Jack with the baby arrives in the post. He frames it. Nick tells Leanne that he's trying to accept that she's with Peter but is struggling. Peter notices that Jack won his last bet and decides to give the winnings to Tyrone. Sophie and Sian seek out Emily for advice over how to deal with their pastor but she is too upset about Jack to deal with it. Jack's friends gather at the Rovers, where Steve reveals that the brewery has named a drink in Jack's honour. Emily tells Rita she feels her views are out-of-date. Everyone is surprised when Tyrone reveals that Jack was behind the various gifts they've received recently. Molly takes Kevin aside and tells him she doesn't know how much longer she can cope.
It was a sad day for Coronation Street as mourners gathered to say their final goodbyes at Jack's funeral.
Tyrone inevitably found it an ordeal, but Kevin helped him through.
Elsewhere, when Peter arrived at Carla's flat, she was dressed in just a towel. He remained strong as she tried to seduce him.
At The Joinery, Leanne was doing the rota and trying to make pretty sure she wasn't alone with Nick.
Tyrone put pressure on Molly saying he really wanted another baby but Molly wasn't keen.
When Chesney and Katy announced they were going to get a place together, Owen was furious.
Leanne and Peter started making wedding plans and Rosie gave Sally a makeover for her evening out with Kevin.
In The Joinery, Carla watched Peter and Leanne jealously and proceeded to get drunk. Then Nick lured Leanne into the office and told her he couldn't bear to see her with Peter.
When a bouquet was delivered to the Rovers for Liz, Owen intercepted it and, discovering it was from Jim, headed off with the flowers.
Molly told Kevin that try as she might to deny her feelings, she’d fallen in love with him all over again and wanted them to be together.
Molly did her best to convince Kevin they should be a family but Kevin didn't want to hear it.
To prevent Fiz calling the police, John promised to go the police station himself and hand over the letters and the DVD. But John lied to Fiz later.
Molly was on the verge of telling Tyrone the truth when she was thwarted by baby Jack who'd been sick.
Carla begged Peter to accompany her to court on Monday. Against his better judgement Peter agreed.
Owen returned the flowers to Jim and told him to stay away from Liz.
Kevin and Sally enjoyed a romantic meal at The Joinery. Kevin told Sally she looked amazing and he loved her more than ever.
Nick challenged Leanne to look him in the eye and tell him she didn't want him. Leanne couldn't do it and when Nick leant in for a passionate kiss, she kissed him back.
Molly lured Kevin to the garage and begged him to run away with her and baby Jack. When Kevin told her he was in love with Sally and wanted nothing more to do with her, Molly threatened to tell Sally everything.
Molly felt unable to break Tyrone's heart when he announced he intended to scatter Jack's ashes.
Although it was John's birthday, he received a call from a distressed Charlotte and headed round to see her, leaving Fiz abandoned once again.
Nick and Leanne enjoyed another session in The Joinery office. They were disturbed by the arrival of Ciaran but Nick managed to cover for them.
Meanwhile, Ashley struggled to pluck up the courage to tell Graeme he was selling up.
Michelle was left in charge of Underworld again while Carla secretly went to court on her drink-driving charge with Peter, and she received a 12-month driving ban.
Fiz was visited by an old lady and when John arrived home, Fiz introduced him to Colin's mum Joy, who hadn't seen her son in months. John was alarmed to hear she had tracked him down to their door.
Kevin appeared in a foul mood and Sally wanted to know the reason why. Little did she realise his entanglement with Molly and baby Jack were the cause of his anger.
John was horrified after Joy explained she'd traced his address via the teachers’ union. Fiz told of her of John's job in a bookshop and she left to try to find him.
Sally saw Molly and Tyrone in the Rovers and asked them if they knew why Kevin was in such a bad mood.
