No one grows up wanting to play in a covers band. It's what happens when the dream of being a rock star has faded and the desperate need for cash takes precedence over any faltering ambition.
Newly formed coverband ‘The Silhouettes' have found their lead singer, Jukebox, and have booked a regular gig at the Roach Room.
‘The Silhouettes' go on their first tour, to play a night of covers in New Plymouth, despite Alex and his fiancée Stacey having some relationship issues.
Matt is left in charge of the Roach Room as Don heads away on a marital retreat. All is going to plan until Jukebox turns up and creates chaos throughout the bar.
The band tries to earn some money playing backing for a young, up and coming Christian pop star. But when it is revealed that Matt lied to get them the gig the boys are in deep trouble.
Matt is faced with another tough decision as Ivy walks back into his life with an offer he can't refuse. While Alex is unsure of the life he has chosen for himself.
