Cricket Fever: Mumbai Indians is a mediocre sports docu-series. Unlike really good series in this genre, for example, Drive To Survive or The Last Dance, Cricket Fever is lacking interesting narratives or personalities. They keep it pretty 'clean' for the cameras, with not much interesting happening.

The Mumbai Indians had a very poor regular season and the episodes get a bit repetitive. Every game gets hyped up, Mumbai Indians are the favorites aaaaand they lose. Every game is a 'final' and "must-win" and yet they still lose and have another chance. Most of the players lack what I call "flair" (off the pitch), something about them that makes them interesting. Daniel Ricciardo in Formula 1 is someone who has flair, cracks jokes all the time, and has an interesting personality. Almost everyone from the Chicago Bulls in The Last Dance is interesting in some way. Cricket Fever has bits and pieces that are interesting, but overall I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you're not a Cricket fan and just want an interesting sports documentary.
