What a freak! Why does Hollywood always try to excuse outrageous and criminal behaviour by various permutations of mom or dad was mean to me, cry, cry, cry?
Really high on the weirdness scale even for a Criminal Minds episode.
To be honest I was actually very much distracted by how gorgeous that actress was, disturbing yes, but she totally pulled off the whole snake-inspired outfit/body-modification thing!

I loved the episode and I'm loving this season so far. The Luke subplot was nicelydone and so lovely. I loved his story with his friend and that last scene hit me pretty hard. It really moved me. His scenes were the ones that I loved the most.
The snake-y thingy was so weird. What are the odds that something like this happens? Using a snake to put your victims unconscious so that you can take them to your evil lair to mutilate them? So weird. The actress who played the unsub was a bit cringey. Once again a mother neglects her kid and said kid ends up being a psychopath who only wants to get her mom's attention. I hope that the mother gets punished for what she did to her.
One of thefunniest parts was when the doctor thought that Reid was an actual doctor and he was just like "Oh, I'm not". Gotta love Reid.
