One of the Best things I've ever seen in my life❤, and my mind was blown and tired
This show reminds me of a great quote from kung fu panda that "There is no secret ingredients". To make something special you need to believe it is special. This show is just like that. Literally 75% of the show was silence, staring, walking, thinking nothing with annoying background music. Nothing was explained. Ends with a chiffenger. So no enjoyment at all. Every dialogue takes literally one or two minutes intervals to go to the next dialogue. Too much boring most of the times. Some hypothetical theories are shown to make things spicy. Very confusing but a little bit logic was shown. How blackhole and warmhole do stuffs. That didn't make any sense at all to me.first I highly suggest you to learn a few things about blackhole yourself. Then you will find how much pathetic this thing is. These things are so hypothetical that it turned into some sick joke. So please go learn science then rate a science fiction. It was good but too boring. This thing reminds me of TNET which was a complete joke. But this is good and there were some legit logic behind those phenomenal.
that's a lot of characters and stuff going on for my teeny tiny attention span to handle
(but it's really good)
The atmosphere, story and mystery of the show are quite good and intriguing (though predictable at times). But what keeps this season from being great for me are the characters. There are just too many of them, not all of them are interesting and actually likable characters are few and far between.
I like that the show is called "Dark", as the brooding and depressing mood is exactly what made it different from other sci-fi shows with mysteries like "Lost". Although it does feel like it's trying to imitate American TV shows, there is still a delightfully European touch which makes it slightly different than the other Netflix products.
It was hard to keep track of so many characters over multiple timelines at first, but the pacing is slow enough to prevent people from being left behind. I still struggle to recognize some faces, but the main storylines are pretty easy to follow. The first few episodes felt a little dull, but things get considerably better from the fifth episode. There are times people would act out of character or make illogical choices, but it's still tolerable. I just hope the time travel and "egg or chicken first" gimmicks will be able to bring something new to the table in the next season. The landscape at the end of the season finale was not too encouraging if I have to be honest.
so confusing to watch; i couldnt keep up with what's happening (i didnt even understand the scientific explanations and theories xd). not to mention there were so many characters—i dont even recognize who is who most of the time unless someone call them by their name.
i fell asleep countless times while watching. there were many boring scenes.
excellent concept but poor execution imo. it felt like the plot is spread out like a mess. or maybe im just too dense to comprehend it.
Never really wanted to watch this show as it was in german, but thanks to Netfix and an average dub I enjoying it very much.
it is a great time travel series which was wel hidden by Netflix.
Its a one to binge and watch out for. I just finished season 1 and can't wait for season 2 as there is a lot of questions that need answers!

After reading a rave review by a friend, I started binging this new Netflix series today. The English dubbing is horrible so do yourself a favour and set the audio to German and the subtitles to English. The acting is very good and shouldn't be ruined by poor dubbing performances. This series is darkly mysterious, more like the original TWIN PEAKS (without the bizarre humour), although it is being compared to STRANGER THINGS (although I don't see many similarities in the three episodes I've watched so far). The mystery is compelling - take in all the up front hints given before the pilot's opening credits - they set you thinking in the right direction. I got bogged down in episode 3 and had to make a chart of family relationships, but once I'd conquered the who's who I was back into the mystery. Looks promising. I'll come back with a final rating but so far I give it an 8 (great) out of 10 with the potential for a 9 (superb). [Who-done-it, What-really-happened Mystery]. A good work out for those little grey cells (I wonder how many calories will that work out burn in my LaZboy chair?) **Just finished season 1 (yes, it doesn't resolve but catapults us into a further plain) WOW, my brain is tired. So many threads, so many resolves, so many themes (determinism, free will, religion, science, time, space, interdependent relationships, cause and effect). It goes down every lane. Complex, great storytelling. Great acting. Can't wait for another season. It well deserves at least a 9 (superb) out of 10, maybe even a 9.5.*
