Eventually Kristen convinced Marlena to keep silent until the birth of her child. In Paris, Kristen lost her child in an explosion, in which her mother and Stefano were killed. Stefano turned out to be alive and helped Kristen who didn't want that John and Marlena found out that she lost the child. She wore a pillow under her clothes. Then they would end up together again. Stefano still in love with Marlena provided Kristen a pregnant look-a-like called Susan. She would take her place at doctor's appointments, etc… This plan worked very well, until Laura saw her pillow slip away…

Bo and Hope finally made their way back to each other and were about to get married. A few weeks before the wedding Billie Reed returned. She started date Franco Kelly, but still was deeply in love with Bo. Bo was very suspicious about Franco and he believed that Franco was responsible for attacking a girl named Jill Stevens. Hope and Billie didn't actually believe that Franco was capable of doing something like that. But in fact, Franco made some very suspicious phone calls to his employer, a person that wants to break up Bo and Hope. Eventually the night before the wedding Billie was at the Horton Cabin. Bo just heard from Jill that her attacker was after someone else, so Bo believed that he would attack Billie. He went to the Horton Cabin and found Franco and a fight broke out. Franco did leave the island, but untied Bo's both. Bo couldn't get back to the church in time. His last attempt was trying to swim, but because it was so cold outside he didn't succeed and was frozen. Billie

On Monday, Jennifer, John, and Marlena are about to leave the Blake house when Jenn sees a light on the second floor. They race upstairs, but don't discover Laura.
[Jennifer is certain she saw a light, and John feels someone was there too, so they decide to search the second floor again.] Instead of splitting up and verifying that every room is empty, they all go off together. Then they hear a noise coming from the first room, and rush back in. It's Celeste (who says she came in the back way), telling everyone that she had a psychic dream in which she saw Stefano and Peter with Laura. Jennifer fears the worst. [Marlena thinks it's horse-puckey. Strange coming from her, after her experience with Eugene's 'vibes'.] At Jennifer's request, Celeste describes her dream. It's a new day, and Salem is fully decorated for Christmas. Hope wakes up and greets gran. Bo stayed with Jill last night. Bo enters and tells that Jill hasn't awakened. Bo wants to move his thoughts and asks Hope to help him and his parents decorate St. Luke's. Because of Hopes bad memories there, she declines. At St. Luke's, Shawn D, Shawn, Caroline and Bo are helping Father Janssen to decorate the church. Hope also enters. Father Janssen thanks all of them for their help. Shawn and Caroline make sure that Hope and Bo walk under the mistletoe. Hope and Bo kiss but Hope draws back and leaves. Bo calls for info and Jill, but there's no break. Bo has a very good feeling.

It's Christmas Eve, at the Brady Pub; the Christmas tree is lightened by Shawn-D. Also Shawn & Caroline are there, like Sami, Lucas, Carrie and Will. Austin also arrives with news for Carrie. Sami wakes up at home and finds Santa there. He tells her she's been very naughty, but she immediately tells him that Carrie is the naughty one. On the other side of the hall Austin wakes Carrie up with a present. Austin tells her that the annulment is moved up and they will marry very soon. Sami convinces Santa that Carrie is naughty and tries to steel her husband. Sami wants him back for Christmas. Santa agrees and will make sure of that. Bo and Hope are getting the lineup ready for Jill, but Hope has her doubts. Billie shows up with Jill and Bo has the men brought in for Jill to look at. After all the men have lined up, including Franco, Bo asks Jill if she sees the man. Before she can answers Hope wakes up to find it was all a dream, but that it's going to become real today. Hope goes to the pub where Shawn D has prepared a special breakfast for Hope and his father in anticipation for the day. Sami is at home wallowing in her grief still thinking Austin could love her if given time. Austin shows up and serves her with the annulment papers and to tell her that he and Carrie will be married as soon as possible. After they have left Sami vows not to let the annulment go through. Carrie and Austin go to the pub to give Carrie's grandparents the news about the annulment.They are thrilled and Shawn gets the champagne to celebrate while Caroline goes to get the glasses but Carrie is afraid to celebrate because Sami could be planning something. Back at her apartment Sami calls her lawyer to stop the annulment, but her lawyer tells her she can do nothing to stop the annulment. The lawyer tells Sami to accept the alimony checks and move on because her marriage is over, but Sami refuses to let Austin go.

As Marlena, John, Jen, and Kristen go upstairs to see Laura Kristen tries to make excuses to get out of seeing her. Marlena becomes angry with Kristen because she is so hesitant, but Kristen eventually agrees to go up to see her. They all enter the room where Laura is resting and Mike is sitting next to her. John notices the read mark on Laura's head and Mike says it seems to be a burn of some kind. Marlena wakes Laura up and tells her Kristen is here and asks why she wanted to see Kristen so badly. Laura tries to remember but she can't, and when she tries she says it hurts her head terribly. As they go to leave Laura suddenly blurts out that Kristen was in the room with her when it happened. When they ask Laura what she means Laura says she was here with her on Christmas day, and Kristen says that she was there to bring a present to Jennifer. Kristen then says that the thing that happened must have been when she woke up, and Laura says that must have been it.

At the pub Sami warns Austin that his car is too dangerous to drive but Austin doesn't believe her. Sami tries to tell Austin he needs to have it checked but neither one believes her because last time she tried this the car was fine. Austin leaves to bring the car back to the pub and nobody believes poor Sami, not even her grandparents.
Later the Brady's all toast their various family members as Sami worries about Austin's safety. Determined to do something to stop him Sami puts on her jacket and leaves for the impound. Sami gets to the police impound as Austin is about to get into the car. Sami tries to convince Austin something is wrong with the car but Austin won't believe her, and he tells her this is all about trying to get him to love her, which won't happen. On the docks, Bo and Billie talk about Franco's possible guilt, and Bo's frustration at his inability to guarantee a future with Hope. Marlena tries to convince John that Kristen shouldn't fly this close to her due date, but John assures Marlena that the doctor told Kristen it was okay. While trying to leave the garage, Austin's car fails, and he hits Sami not once, but twice.
On the pier, Hope tells Bo to accept the fact that Franco is innocent. At the hospital, Austin is in the waiting room, horrified over what has happened with Sami. Kate takes Billie aside, and privately tells Billie that she believes Sami deserved what she got. Kristen heads to Laura's room and wonders if she will remember what she saw.
Bo and Billie go to Jill's apartment to question Jill in an attempt to find out why she is lying to them, not realising that Franco is there hiding in a closet the entire time. Distraught over Sami's accident, Marlena goes upstairs to see Laura and finds Kristen on the phone, but Kristen claims she was only talking to a friend of Laura's (it was Stefano). Kate tried to convince Billie to take advantage of Bo's worry for Sami, but Billie refused.
Austin continues to blame himself for Sami's accident as her friends and family wait to learn if she will live or not. Carrie brings Will to see Sami, and Sami responds when Lucas calls her 'mama'. Jennifer and Kristen head to the hospital to realise that Laura doesn't seem to recall anything since the funeral, and after they leave, Laura asks Marlena to hypnotize her. Vivian goes to Sami's apartment to find out what she's got on Kate, only to learn from Wendy about Sami's accident.
While the family is convinced that Sami is taking a turn for the better, Mike warns them not to be too optimistic because things don't look good for her. Kate walks in on Vivan and Ivan at Sami's, but when she threatens to call the police, Vivian implies that she has Sami's dirt on Kate. Kristen is worried when she finds out that Laura has asked Marlena to hypnotize her.
Sami's worsening condition affects everyone. Billie pays Bo a visit while Hope talks to Alice about her life. Kristen is nervous as Laura plans to go home with Jennifer and nurse Lynn. Meanwhile, Mickey urges Jack to change his mind about pleading guilty to Peter's murder.
Alice persuades Hope to give Bo one more chance. Meanwhile, Billie finally gives in to Kate's suggestion that she go to Bo and comfort him in his grief. Sami is still lying in hospital near death. Laura continues to flash the Blake house.
Sami is at the hospital getting ready for her first physical therapy session, but she wants to have Austin there. Kristen goes to see Susan, to ask Susan to leave town so that she and John can have a chance at a life together. Laura congratulates Marlena on getting back together with John, and ruminates on how great it is that John knows the truth about Kristen.
When John learns that only a special orchid can cure Roman, he volunteers to go into the jungle and retrieve it, over Kristen and Hope's objections.
Jack is worried that Jennifer won't be safe working at the prison, and wants her to stop.
