And that bit at the end with the Waverider, I didn't see that one coming. That was bloody brilliant! I went back through the episode and there it was. Damn, this show's on point. I couldn't stop laughing after that outwards shot.
That almost high five between Darhk and Nate was hilarious. Love that mini team-up. And how does Ray work in STAR Labs and live in Star City, super transportation? Any oldhow, Ray is absolutely adorable, no matter what time period, universe or reality he is in. He's just lovely.
I'm always excited for episodes that explore the "what if" scenarios. Especially when they're as good as this one.
I loved the opening monologue done Eobard-style and the reality the Legion created. It was fun to see vigilante Felicity for a second there. I also enjoyed the bit about Nyssa living a "miserable, closeted life in Ohio". (By the way, when are we going to see Nyssa again? I still ship her and Sara.) Those little moments really remind you how intertwined the four DC/CW shows are, even more so than crossovers.
Rip spending his time baking cakes was absolutely hilarious. And that tiny little Waverider at the end? Adorable!
Amaya, no! Why did they do that? I know they'll almost certainly bring her back when the Legends undo the Legion's mess, but it still hurt. And damn, Leonard, that pun was really freaking uncalled for. Rude.
I sincerely hope that we'll get to see that zombie speedster thing eat Eobard alive or something. Dude has it coming.
If I'm not mistaken, next week is the season finale. I'm totally pumped. The stakes are higher than ever. The Legends will have to find Rip, get the Waverider back to its original size, go back in time, find the Spear, kick the Legion's asses and restore the reality to what it should be, all in 42 short minutes. I can't wait!
Love, nothing but love for this episode.
Legends, a gift that never stops giving. Bring the firefighters, Legends is ON FIRE! Once again, the episode made no sense at all but I'm addicted to this shit and it's not getting any better. I know the episode is called Doomworld but I'm not giving up on the term Thawnepoint. And travelling back in time to fix this reality makes no sense at all because they would rewrite this reality, not fix it. Unless, they only rewrote their histories.
I laughed more times that I can count. The episode is so quotable and there were lots of hilarious meta moments. "That's the thing about Sara Lance, she never stays dead for long". Ray's "Do you know how many toilets I have cleaned? So many", had me lol. And Rip's "First, I'm going to vomit. Then? Let's do this".
"If Thawne made this world to punish us, how are your mom's sandwiches so good?", rotflmao. For the record, I'm preparing a sandwich right now.
And the beginning, Felicity being a Vigilante followed by snapping her neck, man, have they listened to the fandom. For some awkward reason seeing her dead made me smile.
And Amaya! Damn, I know she's gonna be back soon but holy shot, I didn't expect that. In Flash we had killer Frost a d in Legends we had her killed by frost (too soon to be making cold puns?)
So Thawne saved polar bears? Dude, he solved global warming. He's got my vote. And Nate just wanted to change it back? It really makes me think, now who's the villain. He always wanted to be the hero. I've got a weak spot for this guy. Look at his face when Nate said he's a genius. At least he has better security at STAR Labs.
I get this is payback for Stein for lecturing Jax all this time. Plus, Jax is such an intimidating boss.
Nate Heywood's first episode throwback was fantastic. I loved Mick' love look the minute he saw him. And Snart's only purpose that scene: sit there and look pretty.
lol this episode was awesome, the lil references to Prison Break and Buffy the vampire slayer were amazing! Really feel for Mick i truly love him, also Dark and Merlin are awesome they need their own show...wondering how they'll move on from here, it will be interesting for sure!
Reverse Flash and 45 are "buddies"? EDGY.
I did like almost everything about this episode -- except maybe for the "I built the control-Z gun, even though I have no idea why I did or what it does" enormo plot-shortcut. I get that they'd written themselves into a spot from which the Legends had an awful lot to recover from in two mere episodes, but... really?
And... even the pre-Legends Leonard, roguish thief that he was, happy to mess you up any number of ways while he's stealing from you, was never a killer. He actually specifically avoided killing. So I, of course, found myself rather disappointed in this new depth of cold. Makes me wonder what sort of madness Eobard fed Leonard while recruiting him -- or if the writers just forgot who Leonard was while shoehorning him in here.
But, other than those... lots of packed-in fun, from Mad Baking Chef Hunter to Unappreciated Savior Rory. And I even find myself agreeing with Malcolm: Damien is always good for pretty entertaining bad-guy monologue,
Oh I was not expecting this to happen either (ironic mode off)
Can you not keep putting those pictures in the images of the episodes and spoiling/destroying the series?
I don't like how the legends treat, I understand they can be mad but they are so rude to him even when they'd be dead if it wasn't for him.
With this episode, every show in the Arrowverse will have done their "what if?" episode, where the protagonist gets their perfect world and they have to realize it's not real and they try to go back to the real world (Supergirl did it with "For the Girl Who Has Everything", The Flash did "Flashpoint" and the 100th ep of Arrow in "Invasion"). That's a lot of superhero tropes in the span of less than a year

This show continues to be the only CW supes show that still remembers to bring the fun. ARROW never did, being dark and dreary from day one. THE FLASH gave it up a while back for some reason and opted to go down the ARROW road. SUPERGIRL is pure relationship soap opera these days. But LEGENDS? Its braintrust continues to offer plenty of crazy, brainless fun. And props to them for that.
