A difficult but very relevant subject to cover. The show has never shied away from highlighting the racism and misogyny in our past (and present) and that was even more apparent this week.
The zombies were a bit silly but it helped ease the angst a little. Music was on point this ep too.
Nice exchange with the general and Sara I'm enjoying her growth. I didn't mind Rip too much but I find the show is enjoyable without him.
I just hope this isn't the beginning of a romance arc for Sara and swooshy haired history guy. I don't really care for him.

I love that this show deals with racism and misogyny in many of its episodes. Even tho most of its cast are white men, they manage to include those storylines often.
This show may not be perfect, but I love it bc it's quite entertaining and it's not too dark even when it deals with heavy subjects.

Also, may I just say how damn grateful I am that Rip Hunter is gone at least for now. I didn't like that dude at all.

Mick is becoming my favorite character on the show.

American Civil War? Yawn. American Civil War with zombies? YAY!!

Martin's fear of Zombies was so cute hahahahaha. I laughed my ass out.
I'm loving Mick more and more after each episode. That scene where he gave Ray the cold gun was heartwarming and sad at the same time. I miss Snart a lot :(

Every episode of this show is pretty messy, but this was a big step forward. For the first time they actually focused on the time period they were on, and used it as a cornerstone of the storytelling

Mick and Sarah have been carrying the show for awile now. Looks like they are giving him the monumental task of making whats him name interesting. TBH it's probably what he needed from the start, an odd couple or foil pairing.

Usually "visit the slave era" episodes of TV shows are a trainwreck. This was actually one of the better episodes.

Good episode. Though they really missed a golden opportunity.

When Steel went to the crate of explosives to be piled on by the zombies, he should have said, "Bite my shiny metal ass!" as he was leading them to it.

And the differences between this show and Timeless grows narrower and narrower. I'm basically watching the same thing... Twice
