Temporal anachronisms. Vampires. Doyle's and Stoker's London. Rip. Dahrk. And if that's not enough, Rory actually reads a book!
Damien again? What happens with the writers?
Damien Darhk... there is a face I certainly didn't miss and I wish the writers could finally put him to bed. For good.
Wow, Rip really is an asshole, isn't he? I can't believe I ever liked the guy.
I get 5 years added to my life every time someone calls Sara "Captain". She's so freaking good at this. Leading this team of lovable idiots through space and time. I love her. She's easily one of my favorite characters in the Arrowverse.
Agent Sharpe! I thought we wouldn't see her in this episode at all, so it was a pleasant surprise. Her obvious distaste for the Legends is hilarious. I can't wait for her and Sara to hook up. Actually, #1 on my wishlist for this season is to see her with her hair down. Literally and figuratively.
I have to say, being a recurring villain on the DC/CW shows is the best gig ever. Even if you get killed off, there's a good chance they'll bring you back. And if you get written off one show, you'll probably get a call in 6 months asking you to appear on one of the other three. I'm kind of tired of Damien Darhk, to be honest (and I get war flashbacks to Arrow season 4 every time I see him), but whatever. We'll see what they'll do with him.
"Ray, it's not freakin' 'Toy Story 3'" - said Nate, immediately grabbing Ray's hand.
Words cannot describe how much I loved that moment.
Such a fun episode. But every episode is. I think Legends is the best Arrowverse show now. Since every episode isn't real life events or life styles forced on us. Also don't have someone crying in every episode, like Alex in Supergirl.
What an episode! The best one yet
“I’ve missed this”
Me too rip, me too
F**king finally, an episode that manages to pair the show's romp-y aspirations with that sweet superhero-y melodrama. Given that TV is a collaborative medium, I'm normally leery of giving too much credit to directors, but in the case of this particular show, it's become pretty (painfully) clear that it's the one position on the call sheet best placed to fix what ails Legends of Tomorrow. The show's fundamental issues in terms of tone and balance are still there, but thankfully muted by Alexandra La Roche's pacy, nigh-on swashbuckling approach from behind the megaphone. The strongest performers are foregrounded, the weakest (or rather, most ill-suited) are allowed to play to their strengths, and the guest stars absolutely shine (jfc, Courtney Ford). I don't quite dare hope that "Return of the Mack"could be a turning point for LoT, but it's certainly set a standard to shoot for.
Also, big shout-out to the digital matte artists – those London backdrops looked blimmin' grand – and to Daniel James Chan and Blake Neely for swell music throughout.
And here I was, wondering what was up with this episode's title... Ahah!
Another solid, fun-packed episode! This season was off to a truly bad start, but it sure is picking up the right pace, now.
Rick going to the Tribunal sounds like a déjà vu (back to the very beginning of this show), so I really hope he'll go rogue again and rejoin the Legends.
Worst episode in all seasons!
Worst episode in all seasons!
The musical scene of Damien Dahrk was awesome!

We don't deserve this show. This is so good. I'm addicted to this nonsensical shit. It's a drug.
A Sherlock-like theme was one thing I've been waiting for a long time.
I was so excited to have Rip back with his ex-girlfriend but he's a dick. He fucked up so hard. Rip hates every organization he's been in. He needs to create the Rip Hunter's Bureau, where he's in charge. He just does whqt he wants. I hope he learns his lesson and comes back, this time for good.
Sara has grown so much as a character. She's right. Rip begged for help and then betrayed them. Idiot move. I'm sure he'll prove to be right despite his dickness. "How to be a cold son of a bitch", that was straight up savage and so Quentin-like, Sara. He should've dropped that notebook so that Sara could use it. On the other hand, Rip wouldn't be Rip if he actually gave a fuck about anything.
Mallus' voice was so freaking creepy. It spooked me. Eleanor aka Darhk's daughter was a great addition.
"The Phantom Mollusk. An evil shellfish" lol. Nate killed me. Comparing Ray's holding hands suggestion with Toy Story 3, lol.
Mick reading gives me life. Those glasses were a nice touch. Let him finish his book, dammit! Everyone panicking and he's just "Everyone shut up, I've got one page left!" lol. He's my spirit animal. The best. This is probably the only book he's read from cover to cover. Let's face it. I feel like I need to read Dracula again.
Damn, I missed Darhk so much and he's got his mojo back! "Who stole my watch?" lmao. This is why I love this show. The transition from a dark scene to a comedic one. This show never fails at making me laugh like a maniac.
"Return of the Mack" starts playing and I lost my shit. Never have I thought it would fit as the perfect music for a fighting scene. Tears in my eyes. Best fight scene ever! It looked like Darhk's music video, casually slaughtering agents while drinking and dancing to music. I lost it. That man has style. Neal McDonough is a gift. He's just too good
