The shaky camerawork is distracting and really annoying.
MY THOUGHTS ON DEAD SET:

Man I LOVED this. It isn't worthy a 10/10 but man it was so good! The concept is not only hilarious but it's actually really interesting, a bunch of wannabe celebrities locked away from all society as they try and win a big jackpot... Yet the entire world is crumbling outside by a Zombie Apocalypse? Yes please. I really, really like this idea. And surprisingly they didn't make it silly or stupid and actually made a serious show... Big Brother meets zombies was actually good! I can't believe it!
One thing I really liked about this show is how the zombies are created, for some reason I thought they were one of my favourite type of zombies that I've seen in television. They're quite terrifying and I feel like if this were to happen in real life we'd be a lot more screwed than we think, imagine having them sprint after you? No thank you!
Even though this was only a miniseries i'll always look back on it fondly. Seeing Davina being turned into a zombie was something great to see and she actually surprisingly smashed it! I never knew Davina was a somewhat good actor but hey, we learn something new every day!
The plot to this wasn't too amazing so don't expect some super detailed plot, it's just a straight forward show and you can pretty much tell how it's going to end by the time the first episode is finished. This isn't a bad thing though because with it being a miniseries it makes sense for them to not try and cram too much into one small show, what they offered in my opinion was good enough.
The cast were all amazing with some really good performances. I'd say the stand out performance for me was Liz May Brice as Alex. Alex was a phenomenal character that surprisingly had quite a lot of depth. Seeing them manage to bring a character into the show like her whilst it still being somewhat believable was a treat. Another actor that I always love to see and was shocked to see him in a show like this was Adam Deacon! I was actually quite upset to see Space die.
Overall I definitely recommend this. If you're a zombie fan then you'll love this without a shadow of a doubt. If you're British I recommend you just watch it because of it being a zombified Big Brother which lets be honest... That's definitely worth it alone.

The most realistic zombie series/film you’ll ever watch. I didn’t notice any shaky cameras whatsoever, so I think previous reviewers were watching cinema HD cams.

Really love Dead Set. Fits nicely into any zombie collection worth its money.
Maybe the best treatment of zombies I've ever seen. Mixing zombies with Big Brother is a brilliant idea. I love that they weren't afraid to keep the series short.
