The story takes place 7 years before the events of the Detective Conan series. Jinpei Matsuda and Rei Furuya are two students at the Japanese police academy, but also two great rivals who do not like each other very much. Despite their quarrels, will the two young men manage to prove themselves to their superiors and become great police officers?
