I think there's nothing bad with this episode as series finale. Only 2 last minutes ruins morale and build up and I hate them!
I was NOT expecting THAT
I cried my eyes out when deb died, remember when she tells him to kill her if she was in such state? right after Dex kills Camilla?
It's not a very satisfying ending but somewhat gives a closure to the series. No one likes loose ends lying around.
Personally I think it would be more great if Dex just died in the storm.

This was the worst ending. Good thing Breaking Bad ended the same year. It was so good it made up for this poor excuse for a finale episode
Leave your child alone with a killer ?, steal her sister 's hospital and no one notices ? Hannah drugging a passenger and nobody says anything ? Harrison misses his father not ??? Uff , I missed an antagonist also of the same age of Dexter but maybe another department not always win out against their "enemies" . Announced its very end, they killed all the people into 5 chapters .
And the last scene , that means it will continue assassinating ? And when he was saved from the storm ???
I put 4 of 5 stars on netflix that had very good moments, but some very bad , I guess that happens when you have 8 seasons .
very original story, working on serial murderer murders, excellent.
The finale is just a perfect example of how lazy and how unimaginable the writers are. Tons of lose ends and leads not followed up. This show honestly died after season 5 or so.

Not satisfied by the ending, got a lot of questions. How could dexter do this to harrison. anyway, I was really surprised by how things turned out and it really upset me that deb died
Not an extremely "satisfying" ending but it made sense and the episode itself was pretty good.
Dexter is coming back on November 7th on Showtime for a spin-off 10 episodes series. Our killer is back

This could be the worst season finale and last episode I ever saw in my life.
he was gonna have a great life, then everything is like bam! Disappointing
re-watching after 7 years and now I understand why they had to end like this.

The police of the whole state is searching for Hannah? No, no, definitely do not change your appearance, do not even think of cutting your hair or painting it dark, stay long-haired blond as you are... So stupid.
I will never watch a show where the hero is the bad guy. Just because the bad guy is the hero does not mean that he will get away with murders, cheating and frame jobs. What kind of message it is sending to young kids. Dexter should have died or should have at least got arrested.

Lol the show is amazing until the last like 20 mins of the episode where they go rogue. The creator mentioned he thought about a ending where Dexter wakes up and and is on the execution table being injected with the chemicals while everyone he’s killed or has been killed/died because of him were in the other room watching him…
They even mentioned a ending where Matthew’s shoots Dexter after everything he did.
