I can definitely see why this was cancelled. What garbage! This season was really a disappointment.

”Rise and shine.” WTF? That has got to be the dumbest line ever. Talk about anticlimactic. So dumb!

Same as in S1, the plot is irrelevant and the bond between characters continue to be the only thing you can care about. Sad we won't see them again, but I'm actually not surprised it was cancelled.

A happy ending for everyone (who deserved one), quickly followed by a somewhat bleak ending. I guess they weren't aware the show would be cancelled when planning this season finale, as we got hints that there would be more story to be told.

This season felt way too random, which, ironically, goes against the show's premise, and Dirk, who used to be the epitome of optimism and self-confidence, became the opposite of that, a constantly whining coward. So, even though the second season was not on par with the "organised chaos" concept of the first one, it was still fun to watch, and it definitely showed potential for future seasons. It's such a pity that mediocre shows like Legends of Tomorrow (just to name one) get renewed season after season, while precious rare quirky gems like Dirk Gently are simply abandoned halfway through.

At least this final episode gave me two things to treasure for life:

-- Can you turn into a bug?
-- Only emotionally.

... And "Amboolent".

We need Dirk on the case to find the interconnectedness that screws over good shows like this one in favor of the same stupid garbage that gets to prosper.

I guess the one good thing is that I won't have to hate on another character played by Mpho Koaho solely because of stupid decisions. Falling Skies was too much already.

As was the case with the first season's finale, they did a great job of wrapping things up here while giving some hints of what the gang might be facing just down the road. Sadly, I've read that the show has been canceled, so I'm once again left to wonder why a show as creative, original and fun as this one this struggles to find an audience while millions and millions tune in for things like the 483rd repetition of the same tired police procedural or sitcom with its canned laughter...
