Disaster Chef Kirstie from Glasgow is Daisy's Mum and always gets distracted when she's cooking and ends up burning her one-pan dishes. So Daisy has asked Stefan to focus and teach Mum Kirstie to not burn a roast leg of lamb stuffed with apricots and almonds served with bashed neeps, carrots and tatties and to pull off a super sticky butterscotch pudding. No mean feat for her or Stefan. Can Kirstie concentrate for long enough off to win two or more 'Yumms!' from the Disaster Chef judges or will the pressure of the professional kitchen just push her over the edge?
This episode's Disaster Chef Dad is Tony from Desborough. Dance-mad son Kai is totally fed up with his dad's duff dinners, so he's called in Stefan to help. But can Tony go from messing up simple recipes to mastering a menu of Beef Wellington with spinach and fondant potatoes followed by profiteroles and chocolate sauce? Stefan's reputation is on the line so will the judges award Tony's dishes the two or more Yumms, he needs to no longer be called a Disaster Chef?
This episode's Disaster Chef is Shaida from Birmingham. Daughter Asma loves her mum's Asian cooking, but she's desperate for her to be a bit more adventurous in the kitchen. The trouble is, whenever she tries cooking something outside of her comfort zone, it always ends up either burnt or completely tasteless, so Asma's called in Stefan to brighten up mealtimes. Will his menu of lasagne al forno with tomato courgettes, followed by melting chocolate pudding be a step too far for Shaida? It's a nerve wracking challenge, but will the judges give her the two Yumm votes she'll need to win?
Super fit Tai-Kwondo medal winners Bronny and Cameron from Northamptonshire are super sick of microwave meals and have called on Stefan to to sort out their Disaster Chef Dad. Can Stefan's Cookery Crash Course stop Dad Andy ruining a crab stack starter and a chicken kiev main and help him win at least two Yumm votes to avoid being branded a Total Disaster Chef.
Stef is in Oswestry to rescue eldest kids Brooklyn and Bailey from their Disaster Chef mum Jack, who is obsessed with feeding them cereal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Brooklyn and Bailey are desperate for meaty treats, but Jack just burns everything she tries to cook. Stefan Gates' task is to get vegetarian Jack feeling confident enough to progress from bowls of cereal to posh nosh like cordon-bleu burgers and super-tricky chocolate roulade and, at the same time, win her at least two Yumms from the Disaster Chef judges.
Disaster Chef Michelle from Liverpool thinks she can cook and is fed up with the family telling her she's rubbish, but Zeta is even more fed up with her mum's rotten dinners. She loves Indian food so Stefan conjours up a magical menu of posh chicken tikka masala followed by poached pears with gold leaf and chocolate souffle. Will Michelle master the techniques Stefan teaches her in his crash course plus will her dishes pass the all important Yumm test with the judges?
