Even after commandeering his house-mate's help, it proves a tall order, especially due to that woman's gluten-intolerant son. Meanwhile Joyce practically invites herself after a robbery and tries to take over the household. David's daughter Naomi also invites herself after a row with Tamar.
Joris is now confident enough about his reading lessons to accept, caught, some tutoring from Daid's obviously smitten daughter Naomi, who finds an enemy in parasite Joyce. Boudewijn's sex date with the allergic boy's mother frustratingly is canceled last-minute due to the queasy knave missing football practice. David gets jealous of 'romantic rival' Boudewijn, even wants to throw him out of the house, only to find his mate unwittingly 'dates' his cardiologist merely for her family estate sale.
Joris has exam anxiety. David fights with Tamar on her planned six weeks holiday with the kids. Sophie finds out about Boudewijn's relations with Leona and demands he breaks up with her.
Joris cheerfully accepts Joyce's graduation gift and a celebratory dinner, only to be 'treated' to the news that she secretly expects his twins. The inevitable death of the worn-out family dog brings Boudewijn close enough to Sophie, so he dumps Leonore. David allows his boys to go on Candian holiday with their mother and aunt, so he can concentrate on wining nd dining his cardiologist, but his ridiculously expensive steak gets lost.
Boudewijn, David and Joris try to find out if their exes have ever cheated on them. Joris needs to figure out if he wants the unplanned twins Joyce is carrying.
David does everything in his power to be liked by his cardiologist Desiree, meanwhile Tamar is in big financial trouble. Simone, a lawyer, falls head over heels for Joris. Boudewijn has trouble coping with Sophie's friendship with his own brother.

Boudewijn, Joris and David are going back-to-basics in the Ardennes. David has arranged for Boudewijn's brother to come too, to see if the two brothers can resolve their differences. A confrontation between the two is unavoidable.
The pregnant Joyce is getting more and more desperate to get Joris back into a relationship with her, meanwhile he struggles with his relationship with Simone. Boudewijn and David both have trouble raising their children.

David and Tamar are camping in their own garden for some rest for their family. Joris constantly tries to calm due to the upcoming birth. Boudewijn fall under the spell of an interior caretaker.
Joris is crazy about the panic of Joyce about the upcoming birth. David and Tamar organize a party for the sixteenth birthday of their daughter and come closer together. Sophie wants to officially divorce from Boudewijn, who all try to avoid that.

David komt er tot zijn ontsteltenis achter dat zijn zoon Sam een erg hoog IQ heeft terwijl hij zelf bijzonder gemiddeld scoort. Boudewijn heeft besloten om niet meer met Sophie te praten, letterlijk.
Joris vindt het maar niets als zijn moeder Hetty iets begint met een louche vastgoedman. David gaat op onderzoek uit of Sam wel zijn eigen zoon is. Boudewijn belandt na lang droog te hebben gestaan in een triootje.
Boudewijn is erg succesvol op Tinder. David niet. Joris' bange vermoedens wat betreft Joyce worden keihard bevestigd. De drie vrienden gaan naar een mannencursus om weer echt man te worden.
David en Tamar worden geconfronteerd met hun (v)echtscheiding als hun dochter Naomi in het ziekenhuis beland. De drie vrienden sturen iemand op Pieter af om hem voor eens en voor altijd aan de schandpaal te nagelen.
Boudewijn boekt eindelijk een succesje bij Sophie als hij haar samen met zijn twee Bart en Bas weet te verrassen. Het lukt David niet om Els op andere gedachten te brengen, vooral niet tijdens hun boswandeling.
