Frustrating episode in general. Bloody Clara back just ruined it for me. Ruined its for me for the extent of why return to Gallifrey...what was the point? The story told was a stupid waist of bloody having the Doctor return to Gallifrey. Too many tacky & we guessed/already knew this stuff. Imagine Face the Raven was season finale & therefore Heaven Sent was the Christmas episode - they could have started the next season on Gallifrey. Although I'd hate the long wait, it would have been better than what we got. There is a lot more I could say but it would just frustrate me more 'Damn you Steven Moffat!' haha.
love it! but the resolution of the hybird really sucks :(
I think Clara had an awesome departure from the show. Her death being a fixed point in time that can't be reversed but she can avoid her death how longer she likes by traveling with Me in her Clara Who adventures.
Things I didn't like about the season finale is the underwhelming return of Gallifrey and a lackluster conclusion on The Hybrid. I only rated this episode a 9 because this season finale got the emotional beats right.
Love the episode but learn to kill a character! when a character die we need to know that that character is actually dying, so that we can feel some emotions from that death instead of thinking they probably are not dead because you will find a way to bring them back from the dead or just not kill them! i know that Clara did die in the end but she didn't die when the crow got to her the last episode. when the crow killed her in the last episode i hoped she was dead and not because i think she was a bad companion because i need to know that a death matters. so please, when you kill someone just kill them. I loved this episode
Back to the old sonic screwdriver... thank god.. Those sunglasses were pathetic. All and all a poor season ending. They could have done much better.
This was so, so, so dumb, but I loved every second of it. Emotionally, it couldn't have been more satisfying. This season was...a ride. As it stands, 3 great episodes against 9 that ranged from utter trash to acceptable for me.
Well I wonder what happened with the Doctor's daugther and if we will see her again
Clara ruined it for me. It was a kinda nice episode but inconclusive. I like that now the Doctor it's not going to remember Clara. it's a shame I will.
don't you dare tell me ashildr outlived jack! it is just not possible!!
Thanks for the spoiler in the description.
I don't quite understand why the white TARDIS makes the same sound as the Doctor's, even with someone else driving it. Isn't the noise supposedly caused by him "leav[ing] the brakes on"? Like, a TARDIS isn't supposed to make that noise?
nOBODY TOUCH ME I'M :(((
I really don't like that he forgot Clara, not after everything they've been through...but I do love the fact that she gets to prolong her life and time travel with Ashildr.
I was underwhelmed originally by this episode particularly because i expected something else from the return to Galifrey. Putting that aside it is an enjoyable episode and an interesting way to end the series. I really liked how storytelling was done this season and i enjoy watching the episodes again. This was definitely better the second time. I hope we see more of the Galifreyans both high and low born. A little disappointed about the resolution of the Hybrid which was interesting but lacked punch for me.
Boo hoo, The Doctor brought Clara back. I don't care I love her and never wanted to see her departure by dying.
Do you guys realize that now we risk an Ashildir and Clara spin-off?
El mañana no está asegurado para nadie... pero insisto en mi pasado. Tengo derecho a ello.
i love it. they should produce an audio series asap.
Untill now I can't say if I liked it. It had a lot of things but none of them were significant. Clara and Me together makes no sense.
I really loved this episode. Sad and beautiful.
So, we have two human/timelord hybrids now. Interesting.
But isn't he the Hybrid? Half-Human on his mother's side, remarked Eight?
