So I'm supposed to feel bad for Edith because she won't be able to sneak around with a married man anymore? And to think she had the audacity to call Mary a slut for what happened with Pamuk...
showing a human side of Thomas is nice, it gives the character more layers.
I really liked that we finally got to see some humanity from Thomas and Miss O’Brien. I don’t much like a singular villainous arc, so this new-found depth and empathy in them is looking promising!
P.S. Carson and Mary really have one of the most adorable relationships in the show!

Listen, I dislike Thomas as the next people, but why kill the pretty stranger so soon? he's only been there for like 10 minutes. I was beginning to hope he was gonna stay and kind of help Thomas to be less shitty. Killing him was such a cheap and easy way to have a case for expanding hospital to the Abbey
