Dream Car Garage begins its new season in Europe, with a road test of the Mercedes AMG SL 55 in and around the spectacular setting of the Principality of Monaco.
Tom and Peter journey to Mosport to try out the new Viper against a Corvette ZO6, both cars return unscathed unfortunately we cannot say the same for the tires.
The drive to Maranello was another 300 km and there was much confusion over the correct route to take as we could not get OEM and aftermarket GPS devices to agree.
Dream Car Garage and Legendary Motorcar joined BASF in Detroit for the 2007 Dream Cruise, bringing a selection of rare muscle cars to show off.
The Maserati name and Trident symbol tower over the company's headquarters in Modena. Although owned by Ferrari the Maserati works presents a much more imposing façade.
Tom gets a test drive a pickup that matches his larger than life personality, a Chevy C5500 custom built by Monroe Truck Equipment.
The show opens up in Germany and the Legendary craftsmen are at work plumbing the brakes and fuel lines on the Gullwings' tube chassis.
This week's Pro Shop segment is all about the BASF Gullwing's direct fuel injected straight six.
Tom and Peter sample the upper crust of the automotive world, this weeks dream cars include a new Rolls Royce Phantom and a true motoring aristocrat the Cadillac V16.
In the BASF Pro Shop the Mercedes Gullwing gets the ultimate aftermarket accessory, a set of matching luggage.
The long awaited day finally arrives; the BASF Gullwing is finished in Glasurit 90 Line waterborne paint, the shade an original 1957 Mercedes silver.
Final assembly on the BASF Mercedes Gullwing and Oddball Kustoms show car.
It has been a hectic season but the Gullwing has been completed beautifully and in record time.
The new season of Dream Car Garage kicks off with a preview of our most ambitious project ever. The Super Cuda, a 1500 horsepower, twin turbo V10, 200 mph 1970 Cuda. This baby is meant to go fast but also to handle and brake like a million-dollar supercar.
Peter journeys to the Far East, of Canada that is and forgets to bring co-host Michelle. Just off the Trans Canada Highway Peter finds a great collection of fifties classics and sixties muscle cars in Swift Current, pop. 400.
We introduce the 2010 Mercedes GLK build, a mobile terrain park and the ultimate boarder vehicle, you gotta' see it to believe it. Over the next five episodes we take a brand new GLK and transform it into a truly functional show vehicle for Mercedes Benz to take to SEMA.
The Maserati name and Trident symbol tower over the company's headquarters in Modena. Although owned by Ferrari the Maserati works presents a much more imposing façade.
We begin the Pro Shop segment with a visit to Larry Holt at Multimatic Engineering. Larry takes us behind the scenes to show us how all the carbon fiber components of the Super Cuda were created in their state of the art facility.
The Super Cuda’ has some seriously wide rubber at the rear, 345/35 19 Pirelli’s, mounted on custom made Forgeline rims. Even with tubs the rear wheel arches are going to need a little finessing to make everything fit without rubbing. Peter shows you step by step how to properly roll the wheel lip, a little trick practiced by both old school hot rodders and makers of exotic sports cars.
It is a really special BASF Pro Shop this week as Chip Foose lends his talent to designing the paint scheme of the Super Cuda. There was much debate over the course of the build as to the final color but the gang at Legendary were blown away by the tweaked Hemisfear green and black color scheme with a tip of the hat to the original AAR Cuda.
The Super Cuda's paint job brings Chip Foose's rendering to life. The guys at Legendary started with Hemisfear Lime Pearl from the Foose line of custom colors by BASF. The lime green was tweaked to make it a little lighter, resembling MOPAR's original Sassy Grass green.
Dream Car visits Larry Holt at Multimatic Engineering, who explains how the shocks were designed and tested for the Super Cuda’ on their four post rig and dyno.
Another action packed episode as we get ever closer to the end of our first season on SUN TV. Peter drives the best Camaro on the plant, and Ron gets sideways (a little) at Mosport.
The Pro Shop comes to you from SEMA in Las Vegas. SEMA or the Specialty Equipment Market Association is an annual industry convention that has over the years become a showcase for the latest in performance and custom cars. It was down to the wire but the Super Cuda’ made it to Vegas and had its début on the BASF stand, unveiled by Peter and Chip Foose.
Lady Luck was on our side as the Legendary Team made its way to the Chrysler Proving Grounds in Chelsea, Michigan.
The 2010 season of Dream Car Garage kicks off with the introduction of our BASF feature restoration, the Shelby King Cobra.
Peter and Michelle visit La Belle Province for gourmet food and culture, well if you mean poutine and car culture you are right.

Finished in a rather Bugatti like light blue (actually code J Competition Blue), Peter drives a 1970 Cougar Eliminator.
