After a spike in violent, drug related crime in Weston Super-Mare and Yeovil, the police decided to take action. After nine months of covert operations the police have discovered that a large drug-dealing network from London has taken over the local drugs market. Now the police are ready to strike.
The police have dozens of properties and suspected dealers in their sights. In coordinated strikes across the region the police bring over 30 dealers into custody. Among them are low level dealers known to the police and users who have been intimidated into selling drugs for gangs.
With police custody cells full, it's time for the police to start their interviews to try and get a better understanding of how these dealers are operating.
