Britain’s most famous Essex boy is back, as Joey Essex begins his latest series of intellectual challenges in a brand new seven part series of Educating Joey Essex.

Fresh from his crash course in politics last year, Joey is once again on a mission to learn more about the world around him, and familiarise himself with the hot topics and big issues that everyone is talking about.

This time around, Joey’s fact-finding assignments will be centred around the impending European Referendum.

Joey will be getting back on board with politics as he puts his previous political know how into practise to get clued up on the European Referendum, as the landmark vote dawns on 23rd June.

But can the man who once thought Richard & Judy created the world get to grips with European policy in time to vote yes or no?

As part of his latest political onslaught, Joey will be speaking to Jeremy Corbyn, Ed Miliband, Nick Clegg and Nigel Farage

He’s had a best selling book, built his own fashion and hair range, and coined countless catchphrases, but now Joey Essex is on a quest to add one vital achievement to his CV – a GCSE.

Joey arrives in LA, But politics is the last thing on his mind! He eases into his Journey with a celebrity tour of the Hollywood homes and hooks up with his LA guide Jonathan Cheban, who gives Joey a true flavour of what it's really like to live and work out there.

Having seen a more modern America in the entertainment capital of the world, it's time for Joey to learn a bit more about the history of the country. His guide Sunpie now takes him into the heart of the swamplands - Louisiana and New Orleans – where Joey gets some insight on the landscape while taking the local wildlife including marshmallow eating Alligators.

Joey starts out in Philadelphia to learn about the birthplace of Independence, pledging allegiance to the flag and attending the 4th of July parade. But not before taking on a Bagel eating challenge. Joey heads back to the USA to New York and Washington DC, to get caught up in election fever.
