Hammerfell is the barren scab of Tamriel. An unforgiving place that seems to want to kill anything living in it. It’s dry climate, and sparse vegetation makes it home to only the fittest. There are a people that not only survive in the lands cruel embrace, they thrive on it. The Redguards didn’t originate on Tamriel, and yet they were the ones who tamed Hammerfell.
Valenwood is the great forest in the south-west corner of Tamriel. Its crystal blue rivers, fertile soil, blooming gardens, and rolling hills are something you’d only dream of. Here in the branches of this mighty tree the Wood Elves have made a home for themselves. The caretakers of the forests call themselves Bosmer, but to the rest of the empire, these tree dwellers are aptly named Wood Elves.
The feline race of humanoids who call themselves the Khajiit are some of the most interesting specimens Tamriel has ever produced. This “beast race” are as diverse and unpredictable as the shifting sands of the deserts they inhabit.
