Honestly, I love Watson. Usually these kinds of EQ/IQ dynamics have the emotionally intelligent person be rather average because they're there to provide someone for the audience to identify with, but while Watson does not have Sherlock's vast memory and eye for the smallest detail, she is still extremely intelligent and can follow his thoughts without trouble. And even beyond that, she's extremely aware of other's emotions, yet still remains respectful (e.g. while talking to Sophie Bishop she immediately left the topic of her family after Sophie asked her to, and she noticed Sophie's reaction to the mention of the coffee shop but she did not press the matter further) and calm. In fact, she seems like one of the most well-adjusted characters I've seen on TV. Part of the reason for this might be that she's very extroverted and at her best when she can focus on other people, and now that Shinwell's gone it's convenient that once again Holmes needs her help (something she missed by her own admission).

I remember this one, and think I've now filled in the ones I'd skipped.

Kind of anticlimactic -- like one famous comedienne said of eating the last cookie out of a bag, but not really getting that last cookie satisfaction ('cuz you didn't realize at the time it was the last cookie) -- it was better hearing her tell it.

Anyway, I'll miss this. Quickly drawing down on the last eps of OUaT. But, there's other stuff I'm sure... Perry Mason's reboot for one. Sad when a favorite serial drama finishes!

Typical; the partner did it; caught on film - brutal death for the ex though, wow, he was a nasty piece of work

I hate the new premise. It's enough that we've seen Sherlock through alcoholism, drug addiction, and various other struggles. I am not on board. And that's before I saw the truly bad acting. Is there a reason that the cast has forgotten their characters, and how they normally behave, and speak?
