they could have made the ending so much better but the story is still really good and pulls at your heartstrings

The best Anime this season.

I finished it all in one day! One of the best animes, in my humble opinion. Entered my top 3 — 1: Death Note, 2: Erased, 3: Hentai Ouji To Warawanai Neko

This show is top-notch! I never was so touched by an Anime and I'm sure I'll revisit this show a lot of times.

This anime was nothing but a masterpiece, I was looking forward to each and every episode. No fillers or dragging of the plot, just very thrilling from beginning to end. Probably one of my favorite animes, if not THE favorite.

Masterpiece! Highly underrated I would say. I started watching it thinking it could be nice. Got thrilled after 2 episodes and finished it in one session. This show is so great it entered my top 5 list instantly! I would recommend it to everyone because it’s simply genius and doesn’t aim just a genre niche fan base.

I just finished this one I dont leave comments on much that I watch but I am a grown man almost swelling in tears and regret watching this... This is a need to watch it was not even up my alley of media that I watch.

Reaction right after viewing- [8/10] Emotional depth of these characters is insane, they managed the past present and the future aspects of the story really well, a must watch anime.

4 Months later- [6.5/10] I did not rewatch it, i just sort of watched clips of it and thought about the anime recently and it hasnt quiet aged well for me.. what I said earlier stand, the emotion and the characters are very real, the time travelling aspect of was also well done. I just cant get over the fact that the plot twist were just... nothing special, the final 3 episodes became a bit emotional at the end though I was unsatisfied with the ending.

Erased is a good show. That being said, there's a reason my rating is only a 7. You almost certainly will either not care for or actively hate the ending.

Incredibly well done Anime. The characters were well fleshed out and interesting and despite having a fairly simple twist on the world, it makes for a really cool story. For seasoned detective show watcher's, it may be too easy to figure out "who's who." But I still found that I enjoyed it just as much even if I held the correct suspicions well before the reveal. The story was well worth my time and I found myself quite attached to the characters.

It was a masterpiece. I was stunned by how good it was. I can't believe I kept putting this anime off. I binged the whole thing in an evening.

I absolutely hate to take one star away , I do have to though as irrespective of how brilliant it was for 9 episodes , it did go downhill for those 3 remaining episodes. It doesn't take away much though , it remains one of the most beautiful things I've ever experienced !

If anybody liked 'Death Note' then this is the one you need to watch next. Without the epilogue the ending was a little sad, but everything works out pretty well in the epilogue. At the end of every episode you'll be on a high note to watch the next episode asap. This is one of my Top-10 anime I have watched till date.

One of the best anime titles I've watched. The artwork is beautiful and the story is interesting and also incredibly moving. It draws you in really well and gets you emotionally invested in the characters. Definitely worth watching.

I haven't been this moved by an anime since Miyazaki. Looking forward to a [likely] season 2.

very gripping and fast paced. got a little bit predictable after the 7th episode I think but such a good anime !!!!!!

The ending isn’t as satisfying as it could have been, but everything else is really engaging. I have to say, I really enjoyed the ride, and this show was overall amazing.

What a beautiful little story. Even though the topics were pretty serious, it felt so charming and chilling. Really loved how the story was told, the characters and the music.

Had my suspicions but I can't really tell that I guessed correctly, well done indeed.

It's a Must Watch

I had no idea what this was before watching - but it was engrossing. There was similarities not the time travelling bit obviously , but the key thing for me was the well written story, haunting music and great production value. It reminded me of Violet Evergarden but with a dark story.

Highly recommended.

I cried like a baby! I thought it was amazing great tv show

I really liked the first 10 episodes, after each episode I had the urge to continue watching.
The last 2 episodes disappoint a little bit.

But overall I really liked the series.
