Paradise exists. A team of 'Spaniards in the World' visit some of the nearly 1,000 islands that make up Polynesia, located in the central and southern Pacific Ocean. Hand in hand with 6 Spaniards we will discover the charms of these places.
The city filmed, photographed, told and even sung about a thousand times. They say it is still the land of opportunity and one of the few places where no one, absolutely no one, feels like a foreigner. We visited the capital of the world taking advantage of the celebration of two great events: Halloween and the marathon.
This week we travel to a destination where there is no unemployment, one of the fiscal paradises where 140 nationalities live together: Welcome to the Cayman Islands, located in the Caribbean, between Jamaica, Cuba and Honduras. During the 17th century it was the favorite destination of the Caribbean pirates and today there is a pirate party... which we will attend.
The wildest region of France is also the most mysterious. This is Brittany, the destination proposed this Tuesday by Spaniards around the world. The program will visit its capital, Rennes, as well as such unique scenarios as Carnac, which houses the largest archaeological site in Europe; the Forest of Brocéliande, said to be the home of the wizard Merlin; or Nantes, the imaginary world of Jules Verne. The program team will tour the site with the help of seven Spaniards.
Spanish in the world discovers three of the islands that make up the Dutch Caribbean: Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, with the help of six guides.to begin with, Jesús, tour guide, entertainer, orchestra singer..., a real showman who now runs a hotel in Aruba, a multicultural island that they call 'the happy island".
In this installment of Spaniards in the world, we travel to Turkey. Specifically we will know the province of Izmir, bathed by the Aegean Sea and more than three thousand years of history.
In this issue of Spaniards in the World we visit the unknown paradise of Africa, Gabon. This small country in the Congo Basin is the second green lung of the planet after the Amazon.
We visited Azerbaijan with Paco, Cristina, David, Quique and Rosa: Baku, where the modern metropolis and a medieval city with Soviet architecture are mixed; the mud volcanoes of Gobustan and the fire mountain of Yanar Dag.
Españoles en el mundo approaches the Arctic Circle to get to know the land of ice and fire: Iceland. With Dolores, Rebeca, Javier, Antonio, Atamán and María, viewers will get to know the welcoming city of Reykjavik, the amazing Icelandic nature with the largest glacier in Europe and some of the most active volcanoes in the world. And, in addition, Akureyri, to tour the fjord and whale watching.
Spaniards in the World visits the Highlands, the highlands of Scotland, with Paco, José, Macarena, Sergio, and José Ramón and Ángela. From Invergordon, to Stirling through Portree and its famous colored houses, Oban, the seafood capital, and Inverness, capital of the Highlands and Loch Ness.
We visit Washington D.C. With Gustau, Gonzalo and Fernando we will enter the White House, the Capitol, the Library of Congress, tour the National Mall with the Obelisk and the Lincoln Memorial, the Museum of Natural History, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and Arlington Cemetery.
